You can create FORM FIELDS for your attendees to provide you with any information you may need about them to prepare for your event.
To access this section of your registration, hover over SELL ONLINE in your ECOMMERCE control panel and click on REGISTRATIONS. From there, click on the registration you need to edit, then click on the tab labeled FORM FIELDS.
In this section, you will see your existing form fields, which you can edit/delete if needed. You can also add additional fields by clicking on NEW FIELD.
To add new fields, you can click the NEW FIELD button and choose what type of field you wish to add to your registration. You can choose to add fields from the following options:
- SECTION - Creates a divider on your Registration to break up fields into different sections.
- SINGLE LINE TEXT - Creates space for a single line of text to be entered from your attendee
- PARAGRAPH - Creates space for a paragraph of text to be entered from your attendee
- DROP DOWN MENU - Allows for a single selection to be made from a list of entries
- CHECKBOX - Allows for multiple selections to be made from a list of choices
- RADIO SELECT - Allows for a single selection to be made from a list of choices
- PHONE - Allows for an attendee to enter their phone number
- ADDRESS - Allows for an attendee to enter their street address
- ADDRESS 2ND LINE - Allows for an attendee to enter a 2nd line of a street address if necessary
- CITY - Allows an attendee to enter their city
- COUNTRY - Allows an attendee to enter their country
- STATE/PROVINCE - Allows an attendee to enter their state/province
- ZIP/POSTAL CODE - Allows an attendee to enter their zip/postal code
EXAMPLE: T-SHIRT SIZES
When you're setting up a field for a set of options, such as T-Shirt sizes, click on the NEW FIELD button in the FORM FIELDS section of a registration.
Under the new field's DETAILS tab, enter the following information:
- LABEL: In this example, "T-Shirt Size".
- FIELD TYPE: In this case, choose either drop down menu, radio select, or checkbox, field types that allow attendees to choose from a list of options.
- DESCRIPTION: (optional) Enter additional information about the field if necessary.
- LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE: Yes or No, depending on the situation. In this example, we will assume that there is a limited number of each size.
- REQUIRED: Yes or No, depending on the situation. In this example, it is not required for an attendee to get a shirt.
After all this information is entered, click on ADD FIELD.
After the field has been added, you'll need to add choices. Click on the CHOICES tab and then NEW CHOICE.
This will allow you to add each individual T-Shirt size. For each size, enter:
- TITLE: In this case, each available T-Shirt size (small, medium, large, x-large).
- ADDITIONAL FEE: Leave this blank if not applicable, or enter a dollar amount if needed.
- QUANTITY: Enter the number available.
Click on ADD CHOICE when complete.
To add the next choice, click on the DETAILS tab again and then click on the CHOICES tab to access the list of choices and then click on ADD CHOICE again and repeat for each option.
Click on the QUANTITIES tab to confirm the quantities of each choice, and adjust if needed.
