Your blog can be a very useful tool for your business, and one of the many uses a blog can provide is helping you build your email list. Viewers on your blog are likely to be more interested in the goings-on of your business, and will naturally be more inclined to want to stay up to date on specials, news, and information. Because of this, it is a great idea to add an email list sign up form right on your blog to make it easy for viewers to sign up.
To get started, you'll need to have a form created that you'd like to use for email list creation. This form can be a form from your Zibster Forms tool, or from an email marketing provider like MailChimp or Constant Contact. Once you have your form created, you need to copy the HTML embed code for that form to add to your Blog.
Once you have your embed code ready, go to the Builder icon in your control panel and in the Web Pages section, select your Blog Page. From there, scroll down to the Widgets section and click on New Widget.
In the form that comes up, select html as the Widget Type, then enter a Widget Title and HTML Content. For the height, enter a pixel dimension. The height can be found within the embed code. In the example below the code contains "height=500," so I entered 500 as the height. When this information is added, click on the add item button.
When your widget is added, it may look something like this on your Blog page. The example below shows an embedded form from Zibster's Client Relationship Builder.
