You can use your existing domain name with your Zibster website when you're ready to go live with your new design. This guide will walk you through the steps to submit your request to use your existing domain name with your Zibster account.
STEP 1: Log into your Zibster account & Click on Domains in the Left Side Menu.
STEP 2: Under "USE YOUR EXISTING DOMAIN", click on the pink button that says "request a domain setup"
This will begin the domain setup request process for the domain you already have registered with a 3rd party domain registrar.
STEP 3: Enter your domain name and choose the option that best fits if you have an email address that ends with your domain. Then click on the pink and white continue button.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING EMAIL: When we setup your domain name, if you have any existing email accounts associated with that domain name, those email account(s) may be temporarily unavailable during the 12-24 hour propagation period. Once your domain name has completed propagation, your email account(s) will function properly again.
If you selected YES for the email question, please send your email provider's MX records to our Support Team BEFORE you change your name servers (the next step). If you change your name servers before we have your email's MX records set up on our servers, your email will go down. Your email will be restored within 12-24 hours after your MX records have been added to our servers in that scenario.
If you selected NO for the email question but you're interested in having a branded email address @ your domain, you can find details about Mailbox in the Premium Upgrades section in your Zibster control panel. There are also some helpful links below with more details:

STEP 4: Confirmation Message
You'll have a confirmation screen that you've successfully submitted your domain to our team and we'll begin the process of setting up your domain name on your account. Our web consultants will send you the domain name server information for your account once we've set up your domain on your Zibster account.
You'll need access to your domain registrar account to make the update on your domain name. Your domain registrars will be a company such as Go Daddy, Name Cheap, Network Solutions, Tucows, Google Domains, etc. Check out the link at the end of this guide for help with updating your name servers with 3rd party registrars.
