When setting up your Zibster website, you can insert a hyperlink anywhere you have a text editor available. Follow the instructions below to learn how to insert a link into your text using our text editor.
First, enter the text you'd like to appear on the page, then highlight the text you'd like to make clickable and click on the INSERT/EDIT LINK button.
From there, a window will pop up that will allow you to enter information about your hyperlink:
- URL: The web page you'd like to link to in your text.
- TEXT TO DISPLAY: The text you've already entered in your text content. This is the text that will be clickable on your page.
- TITLE: This is text that will show in a small banner below your viewer's cursor when they mouse over the clickable text. This is an optional setting.
- TARGET: This allows you to choose if you want your link to open in the current window ("None"), or in a new window. If you are linking within your site, we recommend using None. If you are linking to an outside site, we recommend using New Window.
After you've entered the information for your link, click on OK to insert your link. Make sure to click on SAVE CONTENT when you're done editing your text.
