Changing Your Banner Block Layout in Zibster
You can easily change the layout of any Banner Block in your Zibster Website Builder—whether you're updating an existing page or designing a new one. Follow the steps below to update your Banner Block layout.
STEP TWO
Click on the page that contains the Banner Block you want to update.
STEP THREE
You can change your Banner Block layout in two different ways:
Option One: One-Click Layout Change

In the upper right corner of the Banner Block, you’ll see the current layout name with left and right arrows.

Click the arrows to scroll through available layouts and preview them instantly.

Your new layout is applied automatically—no need to click Save.
Option Two: Change Layout Using the Right-Side Panel

Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the Banner Block.

In the menu that opens, select CHANGE LAYOUT.
PRO TIP!
For the best look, use horizontal images (unless you're using a Carousel layout). Images with centered subjects—not close-up shots—tend to look best in banners.
STEP FOUR
If you choose Option Two:

Layout options will appear in the right-hand panel.

Scroll through the available designs and click the Save button under the layout you want.
You can choose from 16 Banner Block layout options:
Classic Layouts (Best for wide, “hero” images):
- Full Screen
- Medium
- Short
- Thin
These layouts may crop your image to fill the space.
Carousel Layouts (Great for multiple or vertical images):
- Carousel Full Screen
- Carousel Medium
- Carousel Short
- Carousel Thin
No Crop Layouts (Show the full image without cropping):
- Full Screen
- Medium
- Short
- Thin
White space is added if needed to keep the whole image visible.
Modern Carousel Layouts (4):
- Modern Carousel Full Screen
- Modern Carousel Medium
- Modern Carousel Short
- Modern Carousel Thin
These let users scroll through a gallery of images.
Mobile Layouts
Choose how your banner appears on mobile:
- Full Screen
- Medium
- Short
- Thin
Don’t forget to click Save Changes after selecting your layout!
PRO TIP!
We recommend that you use horizontal images that are not close-ups for your Banner Blocks for best results. If you'd like to use vertical images, we suggest using the Carousel or No Crop layouts.
