How to Duplicate a Page in the Zibster Website Builder
Overview
The Zibster Website Builder lets you create a copy of an existing page without rebuilding it from scratch. You can make an exact working copy that includes the existing content, or copy only the blocks and page structure so you can add new text, images, and other content.
This is helpful when you want to create several pages with the same layout, build a new page from an existing design, or make a working backup before making major changes to a page. This guide explains how to copy a page and choose what is included in the new version.
Important Note About Custom Website Design
If Zibster created your website through the Custom Website Design service, contact the Zibster Support Team before copying a custom-designed page.
Custom CSS or other design-specific styling may be associated with the original page and may not apply to the copied page in the same way.
STEP ONE
Log in to your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu. This opens the Zibster Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and content.
STEP TWO
Click the page you want to copy from your Website Builder page list.
You can copy an existing completed page, or you can create a page with the blocks and layout you want to reuse and then make copies of it for additional pages.
For example, you could build one service or session page and use it as the starting point for other pages that need the same structure.
STEP THREE
Click COPY at the top right of the page. The COPY PAGE panel will open on the right side of your screen.
Review the settings for your new page.
PAGE NAME is automatically filled in with the original page name followed by "(copy)." You can keep this name or enter a different name that clearly identifies the new page.
Under INCLUDE CONTENT, select YES to copy the existing blocks and the content inside them, including text, images, buttons, and other block content.
Select NO to copy the same blocks and page structure without the existing content. This keeps the layout of the original page while giving you empty content areas that you can update for the new page.
Under PAGE VISIBILITY, select VISIBLE, HIDDEN, or DISABLED for the copied page.
A VISIBLE page can appear in your website navigation. A HIDDEN page remains active and can be accessed through its direct URL, but it does not appear in your normal website navigation. A DISABLED page is unavailable to website visitors.
FINAL STEP
Click CREATE COPY.
Zibster will create the new page and place it directly below the original page in your Website Builder page list.
You can now open the copied page and make any changes you need. If you copied the page with its content, review the text, images, buttons, links, Form Blocks, Products Blocks, Services Blocks, Mood Boards Blocks, HTML Blocks, and other copied content to make sure each item is appropriate for the new page.
If the copied page will be used as a new public page, also review its page settings and SEO information so they accurately describe the new content.
When to Use Each Copy Option
Choose INCLUDE CONTENT: YES when you want an exact working copy of the existing page. This is useful when you want to modify a copy while keeping the original page unchanged, create a similar page with only minor changes, or keep a working backup before making major edits.
Choose INCLUDE CONTENT: NO when you want to reuse the same blocks and page structure but add completely new content. This is useful for service pages, session pages, pricing pages, landing pages, location pages, or other pages that should share a consistent layout.
Helpful Notes
A copied page is a separate page in your Website Builder. Changes you make to the copy do not automatically change the original page.
If you are creating a copy as a working backup, give it a clear PAGE NAME so you can identify it later. You may also want to set its PAGE VISIBILITY to HIDDEN or DISABLED so it does not appear as another public page on your website.
If you use INCLUDE CONTENT: YES, copied buttons, links, Form Blocks, Products Blocks, Services Blocks, Mood Boards Blocks, HTML Blocks, embedded content, and other connected elements may still reference the same destinations or content as the original page. Review these items before using the copied page for a different purpose.
The new page appears directly below the original page when it is created. You can drag the copied page to a different position in your Website Builder page list if needed.
Copying a page does not create a new website template or website design. It creates another page based on the page you selected.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Why does my copied page look different from the original?
If your website includes custom CSS or work completed through Zibster Custom Website Design, some styling may be associated specifically with the original page. Contact Zibster Support if you need help copying or modifying a custom-designed page.
Why can't I find my copied page?
The new page is placed directly below the original page in your Website Builder page list. Check immediately below the page you copied.
Should I select Yes or No for Include Content?
Select YES if you want to duplicate the existing page with its blocks and current content.
Select NO if you want to keep the same blocks and page layout but replace the existing content with new text, images, and other information.
Can I use a copied page as a backup?
Yes. Copying a page with INCLUDE CONTENT set to YES gives you a separate working copy of the page that you can keep while editing the original.
This can be useful before making major changes, but the copied page is simply another page in your Website Builder. It is not a system-level backup or version history.
Should I review SEO settings on a copied page?
Yes. If the copied page will become a separate public page, review its page and SEO settings so they accurately describe the new content and distinguish it from the original page.
