Managing Page Content and Block Limits in the Zibster Website Builder
Overview
The Zibster Website Builder allows you to create custom pages using blocks for text, images, banners, forms, products, services, Mood Boards, and other content. Some block types can be added without a set page limit, while content-heavy blocks are limited to a combined total of 30 per page to help support website performance.
This guide explains which Zibster Website Builder blocks count toward the 30-block limit, how the limit is calculated, and how to organize your content if a page reaches the maximum.
Blocks Without a Page Limit
The following Zibster Website Builder blocks do not have a set page limit:
- Title Block
- Text Editor Block
- Text + Image Block
- Video Block
- Form Block
- Divider Block
- Button Block
- HTML Block
- Gift Cards Block
- Maps Block
- FAQ Block
These blocks do not count toward the 30-block limit described below.
Although these block types do not have a set limit, the amount of content on a page can still affect page length, loading performance, and how easy the page is for visitors to navigate.
For example, Video Blocks and HTML Blocks containing third-party embedded content can add additional resources that must load when someone visits the page.
Blocks Limited to 30 Per Page
You can add up to a combined total of 30 of the following content-heavy blocks to a single page:
- Images Block
- Banner Block
- List Block
- Blog Block
- Products Block
- Services Block
- Scheduler Block
- Mood Boards Block
The 30-block limit applies to the combined total of these block types. It is not a separate limit of 30 for each type.
For example, a page containing:
- 10 Images Blocks
- 10 Banner Blocks
- 10 List Blocks
has reached the 30-block limit.
You could also have 20 Images Blocks and 10 Products Blocks. That page would also have reached the limit.
Blocks listed in the Blocks Without a Page Limit section do not count toward this total.
The Limit Counts Blocks, Not the Content Inside Them
The 30-block limit applies to the blocks placed on the page, not the number of individual items displayed inside each block.
For example:
- One Images Block containing multiple images counts as one block.
- One Products Block displaying multiple products counts as one block.
- One Services Block displaying multiple services counts as one block.
- One Mood Boards Block displaying Mood Board content counts as one block.
If you add three separate Images Blocks to the same page, those count as three blocks toward the 30-block limit.
This means you may be able to organize related content within fewer blocks instead of creating a separate block for every item.
How DuoBuild Affects the Block Limit
DuoBuild allows you to place two supported Website Builder blocks side by side. Using DuoBuild does not combine those blocks into a single block for page-limit purposes.
Each block continues to count individually based on its block type.
For example:
- Two Images Blocks placed side by side count as two blocks toward the 30-block limit.
- An Images Block next to a Text Editor Block counts as one block toward the limit because the Text Editor Block does not have a set page limit.
- Two Text Editor Blocks placed side by side do not count toward the 30-block limit.

What Happens When You Reach the 30-Block Limit?
Once a page contains a combined total of 30 limited blocks, you cannot add another:
- Images Block
- Banner Block
- List Block
- Blog Block
- Products Block
- Services Block
- Scheduler Block
- Mood Boards Block
You can continue adding block types that do not have a set page limit.
Removing a limited block from the page will reduce the total and allow you to add another limited block.
Reaching the limit can also be a good opportunity to review the structure of the page. A page with many sections may require visitors to scroll through a large amount of content and can take longer to load.
Ways to Organize a Longer Page
If you reach the 30-block limit or your page has become difficult to navigate, consider:
- Removing blocks that contain outdated or repeated information
- Combining related images or content into a single block
- Moving part of the content to another existing page
- Creating a new page for a separate service, topic, or category
- Using a Button Block to direct visitors to related content
- Adding important pages to your website navigation
For example, instead of placing your services, portfolio, pricing, testimonials, and booking information on one long page, you can create separate pages for those topics and connect them through your website navigation or Button Blocks.
Focused pages can make it easier for visitors to find the information they need and reduce the amount of content that must load at one time.
Tips for Better Page Performance
The 30-block limit is a maximum, not a recommended number of blocks to use on every page.
The amount and type of content on a page can affect how quickly it loads. Pages containing many images, videos, Mood Boards, products, or third-party embeds may require more resources than simpler pages.
To keep your website pages focused and efficient:
- Use only the blocks needed to support the purpose of the page
- Avoid displaying unnecessary image-heavy sections on one page
- Limit third-party videos and embedded content when they are not needed
- Remove outdated or duplicate content
- Separate unrelated topics into their own pages
- Review your pages on both desktop and mobile devices
A clear, well-organized page can improve the visitor experience and make it easier for search engines to understand your content.
Planning Your Page Content
Each page on your Zibster website should have a clear purpose.
Place your most important information near the top of the page, such as your primary message, featured content, main service, or call-to-action.
Use headings and focused sections to help visitors scan the page. If part of the page introduces a substantially different topic or service, consider creating a separate page for that content.
You do not need to use all 30 available content-heavy blocks. In many cases, a shorter page with focused content will be easier for visitors to navigate and may load more efficiently.
Additional Options / Helpful Notes
The 30-block limit applies separately to each page on your website. Blocks placed on one page do not affect the number of blocks you can add to another page.
Each instance of a limited block counts toward the total. For example, five separate Images Blocks count as five blocks even if each block contains only one image.
The number of images, products, services, blog posts, or other items displayed within a block does not determine the block count.
Blocks without a set page limit can still contribute to page length and loading performance when used extensively.

Troubleshooting / FAQs
Why can't I add another Images Block or other content-heavy block?
Your page may already contain 30 blocks from the limited block types.
Count the Images Blocks, Banner Blocks, List Blocks, Blog Blocks, Products Blocks, Services Blocks, Scheduler Blocks, and Mood Boards Blocks currently on the page.
If their combined total is 30, the page has reached its limit.
Is the limit 30 of each block type?
No. The maximum is a combined total of 30 across all block types that are subject to the limit.
For example, 15 Images Blocks and 15 Products Blocks would reach the maximum.
Do the images or products inside a block count toward the limit?
No. The limit counts the block itself, not the individual content displayed inside it.
For example, one Images Block counts as one block regardless of how many images are displayed within that block.
Do Text Editor Blocks count toward the 30-block limit?
No. Text Editor Blocks and the other blocks listed in Blocks Without a Page Limit do not count toward the 30-block total.
Do DuoBuild blocks count differently?
No. DuoBuild changes how two blocks are displayed on the page, but the blocks remain separate.
Each block continues to count according to its individual block type.
If I remove a block, can I add another one?
Yes. Removing one of the limited block types reduces the number of limited blocks on that page.
If the page was at the 30-block maximum, removing one limited block allows you to add another limited block.
Does the 30-block limit apply to my entire website?
No. The limit applies separately to each page.
A page reaching the 30-block limit does not affect the blocks available on any other page of your Zibster website.
Should I try to use all 30 available blocks?
No. The 30-block limit is a maximum, not a target.
Use only the blocks necessary to communicate the purpose of the page clearly. A focused page is generally easier for visitors to navigate and reduces the amount of content that needs to load at once.
