If you are experiencing difficulty with uploading your images, there are a number of things you can try. Very often one or a combination of the following will solve the problem. You may have seen a message similar to the one below, this guide will walk you through how to troubleshoot issues with uploading images to your Zibster account.
Check For Updates
Be sure your computer is updated to the most up to date version of your Operating System and Web Browser. In case you need help with how to find updates, here are some of the most popular providers that we see our clients using.
PRO TIP!
We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome browser for best results with uploading images.
Clear Your Browser Cache
As you're working on updating your website, occasionally your browser will cache your page and impact what you're seeing on your builder. Clear your browser cookies and cache and restart your browser.
Check Your Internet Connection
You can test your internet speed for free here: https://www.speedtest.net
If your internet connection is running slow, you may want to restart your router and make sure it's also up to date with any updates that it requires.
File Type
Make sure your images are in .jpg or .png (where applicable) format only. If your images are not in one of these two formats, you can use image editing software to convert them. Simply changing the file extension will not convert the image.
Batch and Image Size
For best results, we recommend that your images have a height of 1730px, letting the width proportionally auto-adjust. The height of 1730px applies to both vertical and horizontal images. Each image should be under 4MB. Our uploader will resize your images for you automatically, however, if you are experiencing slow uploading or connection issues, conducting a batch resize of your files in a program such as Lightroom prior to uploading can expedite the process significantly.

Need bigger files?
If you need to be able to upload larger images than 4 MB to send to your clients, you can add the Original Files premium add-on to your account and upload files up to 50 MB in size! Click here to learn more.
File Names
Images with very long file names may not upload successfully with our uploader. If your file names are particularly long, consider shortening them and that should fix the issue. To ensure your images upload in the proper order, we recommend reviewing our guide on batch renaming based on the number of images you are uploading.
