How to Embed an Image in a Text Editor Block
We recommend using a Text + Image Block for the easiest way to display text and images together. However, if you want to insert an image (including an animated GIF) directly inside a Text Editor Block, you can do so by following the steps below.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click FILES in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Click on DOCUMENTS at the top center of your Files control panel.
STEP THREE
Upload the image you want to embed in your Text Editor Block.
STEP FOUR
Once your image has uploaded, copy the file URL for the image you want to embed.
STEP FIVE
Click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu of your control panel.
STEP SIX
Select the page that contains the Text Editor Block where you want to insert your image.
STEP SEVEN
Click on the Text Editor Block to open it for editing.
If you don’t already have one on your page, you can add a new Text Editor Block.
STEP EIGHT
The right-side menu will open and in the Text Editor toolbar, click the Image Icon.
STEP NINE
Paste your file or image URL into the field labeled IMAGE URL and click OK.
Your image or animated GIF will now appear inside the text box.
STEP TEN
If your file is not a .PNG, .JPEG, or .GIF, it cannot be embedded directly as an image.
Instead, you can link to the file externally:
- Highlight the text you want to use as your link.
- Click the Link Icon in the toolbar.
- Paste the file URL into the URL field and click OK.
GOOD TO KNOW
Using the Text + Image Block is generally more flexible for layout design and mobile responsiveness.
The Text Editor method is best for simple inline images or animated gifs.
