Zibster ECommerce offers you the ability to sell product downloads directly from your online store. With product downloads on Zibster, you have complete control over the availability and download limits for your customers. This feature is perfect for offering PDF files, MP3 files, ebooks, presets, and various other digital options. This guide will take you through the process of setting up a product download.
For the best experience, we recommend uploading your files to the Documents area in the Files section in your Zibster account to store and manage your digital product downloads. You can easily upload files in various formats, including:
JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TTF, OTF, WOFF2, PDF, PSD, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, ZIP, ICO, MP3, JS, CSS, & SVG
By upgrading to the Original Files premium feature, you can even support files up to 50MB in size through the Files section of your Zibster account.
Furthermore, Zibster allows you to provide an external link for your customers to access their digital product downloads conveniently. This ensures a seamless and user-friendly experience for your clients.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the SELL ONLINE option at the top of your ECommerce control panel and click on PRODUCTS.
STEP THREE
Choose the category the product is located in, and click on the name of the product you want to add a digital download to.
FINAL STEP
Click on the tab for digital download
In the LINK TO section, you can choose File and select your file from the CHOOSE A FILE drop-down list.
If you're adding an external link, choose External link from the LINK TO drop down, then paste your link in the URL field.
You can also set the following options:
- Number of Days Download Is Available - controls how many days the download link will be valid once the order has been completed and paid for.
- Maximum Downloads Per Order - how many download attempts the download link will be valid for once the order has been completed and paid for.
Click on Save Changes to update your product to include the digital download.
Once you've set up your product and had the file added, your website visitors will be able to purchase your digital download from you similar to what you see in the screen shot below.
