How to Download All Website Images Using the Image Clipboard in Zibster

Overview

This guide shows you how to download multiple images from your Zibster website using the Image Clipboard and Mood Boards. Instead of saving images one at a time, you can collect them into the Clipboard, add them to a Mood Board, and download them all at once as a ZIP file.

By the end of this guide, you will have a full backup of your website images without needing to manually download each one.

Important Before You Begin

  • This process only works for images currently available on your website builder.
  • Deleted images cannot be recovered using this method.
  • This process creates copies of your images and does not affect your live website.
  • If you are planning to cancel your account, complete this process before canceling to retain access to your images.

STEP ONE

Log into your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the page that contains the images you want to copy.

You can copy images from any block that supports images, including:

  • Images Block
  • Banner Block
  • List Block
  • Text + Image Block
  • Form Block
  • Video Block

STEP THREE

Click on the block that contains the images.

The block settings will open on the right side, showing image thumbnails.

STEP FOUR

Click and hold your mouse inside the image panel.

Drag to select one or more images. Selected images will be outlined.

STEP FIVE

Click and hold the selected images, then drag them to the CLIPBOARD button.

Release your mouse to add them to the Image Clipboard.

STEP SIX

Repeat this process for any additional pages that contain images you want to download.

STEP SEVEN

Click MOOD BOARDS in the left-side menu.

STEP EIGHT

Click the NEW PROJECT button.

Enter a project name such as “Website Image Download,” then click create project.

STEP NINE

Inside your Mood Board, click the CLIPBOARD button.

This opens your Image Clipboard.

STEP TEN

Select the images you want to download.

  • Choose individual images or click Check All and then click Insert
  • If your Clipboard has multiple pages, repeat the process for each page

STEP ELEVEN

Click the DOWNLOAD option inside the Mood Board.

STEP TWELVE

Enter your email address, choose your preferred file resolution, and send the files.

FINAL STEP

Check your email for the download link.

  • The link will allow you to download a ZIP file of your images
  • The link is valid for 7 days
  • Extract the ZIP file on your computer to access your images

Additional Backup Recommendations

To ensure a complete backup of your content, also download files from:

  • Mood Boards (if used for image organization)
  • Documents section
  • Blog posts or other content areas

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

  • Moving images to the Clipboard creates copies; your originals remain unchanged
  • The Clipboard prevents duplicate uploads
  • You can organize Clipboard images into folders
  • Available download resolutions may include:
    • Web Resolution
    • High Resolution
    • Original Files (if previously enabled)
  • Large image sets may take several minutes to process
  • Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the email
  • You can delete the temporary Mood Board after downloading

Troubleshooting / FAQs

Why don’t I see the Original Files option?
This option is only available if the Original Files feature was enabled when the images were uploaded.

Will this remove images from my website?
No. This process only creates copies. Your website remains unchanged.
