How to Move or Copy Blocks Between Pages in the Zibster Website Builder
Overview
The Zibster Website Builder lets you move an existing block to another page without rebuilding its content or settings. You can move a block by dragging it onto another page or by using the MOVE option in the block menu.
If you want the original block to remain in place, you can create a copy first and then move the duplicate to another page. This is useful for reusing layouts, calls to action, images, text, and other website content without starting from scratch.
This guide explains how to copy a block when needed, move it to another page, and choose where it appears on the destination page.
STEP ONE
Log in to your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and content blocks.
STEP TWO
Click the page that currently contains the block you want to move or copy.
STEP THREE
If you want to move the original block, continue to STEP FOUR or STEP FIVE.
If you want the original block to remain on the current page, click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the block and click COPY.
The copied block is placed directly below the original block on the same page. Use this duplicate for the remaining steps so the original block stays in place.
If the page has reached the maximum number of counted blocks allowed on a page, you will not be able to create another copy until you move or remove one of those counted blocks.
STEP FOUR
To move the block using drag and drop, click and hold the block and drag it over the name of the destination page in the Website Builder menu.
Release the block over the destination page. The block is removed from its current location and added to the bottom of the selected page.
Use this method when you want to move a block quickly and do not mind repositioning it after opening the destination page.
If you use drag and drop, you can skip STEP FIVE and continue to the FINAL STEP.
STEP FIVE
To use the MOVE option, click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the block and click MOVE.
Select the page where you want the block to appear.
Under LOCATION, select TOP OF PAGE or BOTTOM OF PAGE, then click MOVE BLOCK.
You can also select the page you are currently editing. This gives you a quick way to move a block directly to the top or bottom of the same page.
FINAL STEP
Open the destination page and confirm that the block appears where you want it.
A block moved with drag and drop appears at the bottom of the destination page. You can click and drag the block to another position on the page if needed.
A block moved with MOVE appears at the top or bottom of the page based on the LOCATION you selected.
Your Website Builder changes take effect when they are saved. You do not need to publish the website separately.
Which Moving Method Should You Use?
Use drag and drop when:
-
You want to move a block quickly.
-
The destination page is easy to access in the Website Builder menu.

You are comfortable with the block being added to the bottom of the destination page.
-
You plan to reposition the block afterward.
Use MOVE when:

-

-
Dragging a block between pages is inconvenient.
Moving a Block vs. Copying a Block
Moving a block removes it from its current location and places it in the location you choose.
Copying a block creates a duplicate directly below the original block. You can then move the duplicate to another page while leaving the original in place.
This is useful when you want to:
-
Reuse a contact section or call to action.
-
Add similar content to multiple pages.
-
Reuse an existing block layout.
-
Create another version of a block that you can edit independently.
-
Keep the original block in place while using a copy elsewhere.
After creating the copy, you can edit the duplicate without changing the original block.
See How to Copy a Block for complete instructions.
Block Limit
Each Website Builder page allows a combined maximum of 30 Images Blocks, Banner Blocks, List Blocks, Blog Blocks, Products Blocks, Services Blocks, Scheduler Blocks, and Mood Boards Blocks.
The limit counts each block instance, not the number of images, products, services, Mood Boards, or other items inside the block.
If the page has already reached this limit, you cannot create another copy of one of these counted blocks on that page. Move or remove a counted block first, then try copying the block again.
Title Blocks, Text Editor Blocks, Text + Image Blocks, Video Blocks, Form Blocks, Divider Blocks, Button Blocks, HTML Blocks, Gift Cards Blocks, Maps Blocks, and FAQ Blocks do not count toward this limit.
See Understanding Block Limits for details on block limts per page.
