Submitting your Website sitemap to Google Search Console is the best way to let Google know the layout of your website pages and when you've made updates to your content. You can submit your sitemap to track when Google crawls your website pages as well. This guide will walk you through the steps on how to submit the sitemap for your PhotoBiz website to Google using Google Search Console.
STEP ONE
Open another tab or browser window and verify your domain name with Google Search Console or log into your Google Search Console account.
First, you need to verify your website with Google if you haven't already. To do so, log in to https://search.google.com/search-console and create a URL PREFIX Property.
STEP TWO
Submit Your Sitemap To Google Search Console
After you've verified your domain, click on SITEMAPS in the menu on the left-hand side of your Google Search Console account.
STEP THREE
You will type in your sitemap.xml in the Add a new sitemap section and then click on the submit button.
When you have successfully submitted your sitemap, you'll receive the following confirmation message:
You'll also be able to see when you submitted your sitemap and the last time that Google crawled it and which pages in your website have been discovered.
