How to Upload Files to Your Documents Library in Zibster

This guide explains how to upload files to your Documents Library in Zibster, including supported file types such as PDFs, images, documents, and more.

It also outlines how files behave after upload, including how they are stored, accessed, and updated.

By the end of this article, you’ll understand how to upload files, use them on your website, and manage updates when changes are needed.

Prerequisites

Before uploading files, make sure:

  • You are logged into your Zibster dashboard
  • Your file size meets upload limits (see notes below)

STEP ONE

Log into your Zibster account and click on FILES in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on Documents at the top of the Files section.

STEP THREE

Upload your file to the Documents section.

Once uploaded, your file will appear at the top of your Files Library.

FINAL STEP

Locate your uploaded file in the list and use its link anywhere on your website as needed.

Additional Options / Helpful Notes

  • Supported file types include: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TTF, OTF, WOFF2, PDF, PSD, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, ZIP, ICO, MP3, JS, CSS, SVG
  • Files are stored exactly as uploaded and are not modified by Zibster after upload
  • Files cannot be edited, altered, or overwritten after they are uploaded
  • To update a file, you must delete the existing file and upload a new version
  • Uploading a new file creates a new file URL
  • Files are automatically assigned a unique URL when uploaded
  • The file URL includes the upload date as part of the link structure
  • For best organization, name your files clearly before uploading
  • If uploading a PDF larger than 4MB, consider compressing the file
  • You can upgrade to Zibster’s Original Files feature to upload files up to 50MB
