Why Your Zibster Form Says “Form Closed” — And How to Fix It
If you've created a Zibster form but you're seeing a “Form Closed” message, don't worry! This usually means one of a few settings needs to be updated. Here's a quick checklist to help you get your form back up and running:
CHECK THE FORM LINK
Make sure you're sharing the correct link to your form.
To verify:
-
Go to your form in Zibster.
-
Click the SHARE button.
-
Then either:
-
Send it as an email invitation, or
-
Copy the direct link to share manually.
-
CHECK FOR AN EXPIRATION DATE
Your form may have an expiration date that has already passed.
To check:
- Open the form settings.
- Look for the Expiration Date field.
- Remove or update the date if needed.
CHECK FORM SUBMISSION LIMITS
You may have set a limit on how many people can submit the form.
To check:
- Go to the form settings.
- Look for the Submission Limit field.
- Increase or remove the limit if it's been reached.
CHECK THE FORM PAYMENT BLOCK
If your form includes a payment option, your merchant account might be disconnected or inactive.
To check:
- Open your form.
- Make sure the Payment Block is connected to an active merchant (like Stripe, Square, or PayPal).
CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT’S SUBMISSION LIMIT
Zibster accounts include 500 form submissions per month by default.
To check:
- Go to your Zibster home page.
- Look for your current form submission usage.
If you’ve hit the limit, you can purchase more submissions.
CHECK FILE UPLOADS AND STORAGE
If your form includes a file upload field, your account may be out of storage.
To check:
- Go to your account storage settings.
- Make sure there’s enough available space for new uploads.
