Zibster includes powerful marketing tools to enhance lead generation and marketing efforts for your business. This guide will walk you through the steps of creating a form to capture email addresses and offer a free download to your visitors. First, you'll upload your free download file, then create the email capture form, and finally, add the form to a page on your website.
STEP ONE
Upload Your File For Download
Log into your Zibster account and navigate to Files in the left-side menu. Here, you can upload the file that you'll offer as a free download. If you need assistance with this step, refer to our guide on uploading files in the Files section.
STEP TWO
You can upload your file that you want to add as a download to your forms via the DOCUMENTS section under the Files control panel. You'll want to copy the link to the file.
STEP THREE
Navigate to Forms in your Zibster control panel to add a download to an existing form or to create a new form for capturing email addresses from your visitors. You can use the Newsletter Sign-Up or Blog Sign-Up form templates, or create a custom form with just an Email field.
STEP FOUR
Click on the Edit Settings icon at the upper right corner of the form editor, then select Settings from the options that appear.
STEP FIVE
You can offer a free download multiple ways.
POP-UP WINDOW DOWNLOAD
For a popup window with a clickable download link, add the download link to the Thank You Message. Insert the link and set the email thank you message to "no".
To deliver the free download via email, set the email thank you message to "yes".
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form editor to activate these settings for form submissions.

THANK YOU MESSAGE DOWNLOAD:
You can link your PDF in the Thank You Message Text Editor and set the EMAIL THANK YOU MESSAGE option to Yes.
CUSTOM CONFIRMATION PAGE URL:
You can paste your link to your file to automatically redirect someone to the file when they submit your form.
FINAL STEP
Add Your Form to a Web Page
Navigate to Website in the left-side menu of your Zibster account. Choose an existing page or create a new one where you want to display the form. Add the form block to the page and select your newly created form from the list.
