How to Create a Blog Post from a Marketing Campaign in Zibster
Overview
Zibster Marketing lets you create a blog post from an existing email campaign so visitors can access the newsletter from your website.
For new content you plan to share on your website and through email, we recommend creating the blog post first, then creating your Marketing campaign from that post. The Blog tool gives you more control over your text, images, and formatting and lets you create a complete article with useful website content for search engines to discover.
The method in this guide creates a simpler blog post with your title, introductory content, a campaign image, and a VIEW NOW button that links visitors to the web version of your email newsletter.
For the recommended blog-first workflow, see How to Create an Email Marketing Campaign from a Blog Post.
STEP ONE
Log in to your Zibster account and click MARKETING in the left-side menu.
This opens your Marketing Dashboard, where you can manage your email campaigns and other marketing tools.
STEP TWO
From the Marketing Dashboard, click EMAIL CAMPAIGNS at the top of the page.
This opens your list of existing email campaigns so you can choose the campaign you want to turn into a blog post.
STEP THREE
Click the CAMPAIGN NAME for the email campaign you want to turn into a blog post.
If you have several campaigns, use the search bar to locate the campaign you want.
STEP FOUR
At the upper-right side of your email campaign, click SHARE.
The SHARE CAMPAIGN panel will open on the right side of your screen.
FINAL STEP
In the SHARE CAMPAIGN panel, click CREATE BLOG POST.
Enter the title you want to use in the BLOG POST TITLE field. Then use the BLOG POST CONTENT editor to add the introductory text you want to display with your campaign.
You can use VISUAL for standard text formatting or HTML if you prefer to edit the HTML directly.
When your content is ready, click PUBLISH to publish the blog post to your website immediately. If you want to continue working on the post before publishing it, click CREATE DRAFT. Zibster will create the post as a draft and take you to the Blog tool, where you can continue editing it.
The blog post created through this workflow does not convert the full email campaign into editable Blog content. Instead, it showcases the campaign on your website and gives visitors a VIEW NOW button they can click to open the web version of the original email newsletter.
What Your Clients See
When you publish the blog post, visitors will see the blog post title, the content you entered when creating the post, a large image from the Marketing campaign, and a VIEW NOW button.
When a visitor clicks VIEW NOW, the web version of the original email campaign opens.
Because the full email campaign is not converted into editable Blog content, this workflow gives you less control over the content displayed directly on your website.
If you are creating new content that you want to use for both your website and email marketing, we recommend creating the blog post first. You can then use Zibster's Blog sharing tools to create an email marketing campaign that promotes the published post. This gives you more control over the website content and creates a complete blog article that can provide additional value for your website and search visibility.
