How to Share a Blog Post in Zibster
Overview
Your Zibster Website Package includes a built-in blog feature that allows you to share updates, promotions, announcements, featured sessions, helpful resources, and more with your audience. After a blog post is published, you can use the Share button inside the Blog post builder to promote your blog post in several ways.
The Share panel includes three sections: Email Invite, Email Campaign, and Share. You can send the blog post to specific contacts, create a full email marketing campaign with Ask Zibster AI, copy the public blog post URL, share to supported social media platforms, or download a QR code.
This guide walks you through how to share a published blog post from your Zibster Blog dashboard.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure your blog post is published.
Draft blog posts cannot be shared using the published blog post sharing tools. If you do not see the Share button or sharing options, review the blog post and confirm that it has been published.
STEP ONE
Log in to your Zibster account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.
This opens your Blog dashboard, where you can view, create, edit, and manage your blog posts.
STEP TWO
Open the published blog post you want to share.
Click the name of the blog post you want to share. If you have many blog posts, you can use the search bar to locate the post by name.
Review the post to make sure the content is complete and the post is published.
FINAL STEP
Click the Share button toward the top right of the Blog post builder.
The sharing panel will open on the right side of your screen. You will see three sections: Email Invite, Email Campaign, and Share. Each section gives you a different way to promote or distribute your published blog post.
Email Invite
Use Email Invite when you want to send your blog post directly to specific contacts or email addresses.
This option is best for sending a blog post to one person or a small group of specific recipients, such as a featured client, vendor, partner, team member, or lead who may be interested in the post.
In the email field, begin typing the recipient’s email address. If the person is already saved in your Zibster Contacts, their name will appear and you can select them. If the person is not already saved as a contact, finish typing the email address to add them to the invitation list.
After you have added your recipients, click the CONTINUE button at the bottom of the sharing panel.
Customize the Email Invite
Before sending, you can review and customize the email invitation.
You can update the following fields:
FROM NAME
FROM EMAIL ADDRESS
SUBJECT
MESSAGE
When your email invitation is ready, click the SEND button.
After sending, you will see a confirmation screen letting you know that your blog post email invitation was successfully sent.
Important Note About Unsubscribed Contacts
If a person has previously unsubscribed from your email list, they will not receive the blog post email invite.
This helps protect your email compliance and prevents unsubscribed contacts from receiving additional email messages through Zibster.
Create an Email Marketing Campaign
Use Email Campaign when you want to create a full email marketing campaign based on your published blog post.
The Email Campaign option uses Ask Zibster AI to help create an email blast from the blog post you want to promote. This is helpful when you want to announce a new blog post to a larger audience, such as past clients, leads, subscribers, or a specific contact group.
Ask Zibster AI uses your blog post as the starting point for the email campaign content. This helps you quickly create a marketing message that promotes the blog post and encourages readers to visit your website.
Using the Email Campaign option with Ask Zibster AI counts toward your monthly Zibster AI request limit.
Review and Send Your Email Marketing Campaign
After creating the campaign, you will be directed to the Zibster Email Campaign builder in the Marketing Dashboard.
Review the email campaign before sending it to your audience. Make sure the subject line, message content, sender details, and recipient list are correct.
When the campaign is ready, you can send it through Zibster Email Marketing.
Email Campaign is best for sending a full announcement to a larger group of contacts. Your Zibster Website Package includes 10,000 marketing emails per month.

Share Blog Post Link
Use the Share section when you want to copy your blog post link, share to social media, or use the QR code.
The Share section includes the canonical public URL for your published blog post. This is the direct link visitors can use to open the published blog post on your website.
Click the copy button to copy the blog post URL. You can paste this link anywhere you want to promote your blog post, such as text messages, newsletters, Instagram, LinkedIn, another marketing platform, or a direct message.
Use the social media icons in the Share section if you want to post your blog article directly to a supported social platform.
You can share to:
X
When you choose a social media option, you will be redirected to that platform’s website to finish creating and publishing your post.
Blog Post QR Code
The Share section also includes a QR code for your published blog post.
The QR code is scannable directly from your dashboard and can also be downloaded. When scanned, the QR code opens the published blog post URL.
Downloading the QR code is helpful if you want to add it to printed materials, in-person displays, event signage, postcards, flyers, menus, appointment cards, or other marketing pieces.
Checking Email Invite Status
After sending a blog post email invite, you can check your Zibster Contacts to review invite activity.
Open the contact’s profile and click the EMAIL INVITES tab to view details about email invitations sent to that contact.
The EMAIL INVITES tab may show details such as:
NAME/SUBJECT
SENT DATE
STATUS
This helps you confirm whether a blog post email invite was delivered, opened, or clicked.
