Zibster offers marketing tools to assist with lead generation and marketing efforts for your business. This guide will provide you with step-by-step instructions on creating a pop-up that offers a free download for your website visitors after they've supplied you with an email address to contact them. The process involves uploading your free download file, creating a form to capture email addresses, and designing the pop-up that will appear on your Zibster website.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and navigate to the FILES section in the left side menu. This area allows you to upload the file you intend to offer as a free download. If you need assistance, refer to our guide on uploading files to the Files section.
STEP TWO
Copy the link for the file you wish to use as the free digital download. This link will be used to create a clickable download link after a visitor submits your form within the pop-up.
STEP THREE
Mouse over the FORMS section to create a new form for capturing visitor email addresses. You can either choose the Newsletter Sign-Up or Blog Sign-Up forms from the templates or create a blank form and include only the Email field.
STEP FOUR
Click on the EDIT SETTINGS icon located in the upper right corner of the form editor, then select SETTINGS from the available options.
STEP FIVE
In this section, you can add the option for the free download. If you want the download to appear as a clickable link in the pop-up window, add the link to the Thank You Message field by inserting a link within your text. Ensure that the email thank you message is set to "no."
If you prefer your clients to receive the free download in their email inbox, set the email thank you message to "yes."
Click on the SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom of the form to activate these settings for form submissions.
STEP SIX
Create your pop-up for your website by clicking on the MARKETING option in the left side menu and selecting Pop Up Builder at the top of your Marketing controls.
STEP SEVEN
Choose one of the available subscribe pop-ups to use for your free download pop-up.
STEP EIGHT
Customize the pop-up text, colors, and incorporate your lead capture form into the pop-up design.
FINAL STEP
Publish your pop-up to make it active on your Zibster website.
