If you're using Square for credit and debit card processing with your Zibster account and originally connected before October 4, 2022, follow these steps to reconnect and take advantage of the latest integration updates and features. We’ve recently upgraded the Square integration, so this guide will walk you through reconnecting your Square account to fully benefit from the update.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and access the ECommerce section of your control panel.
STEP TWO
Mouse over to payment and click merchants.
STEP THREE
Check the box next to your Square merchant and click Delete.
You’ll be asked to confirm the removal of Square as your merchant. Click YES to remove the old connection. You’ll reconnect Square as a new merchant in the next step.
STEP FOUR
Click the NEW MERCHANT button and choose Square.
By default, Stripe is selected, but you can change this by clicking the dropdown and selecting Square. Then click Connect to Square to proceed.
STEP FIVE
Log in to your Square account.
A new window will open where you can log in to Square and link your Zibster account. Once you complete the prompts, your Square account will be reconnected, and you can start accepting payments again immediately.
STEP SIX
Personalize your payment settings.
Click Configure new Square account to review your settings. Verify the card types you will accept and decide where Square will be used – in your store, forms, and invoicing.
Once you're satisfied with the settings, save your changes. Your Square merchant setup is complete, and you can now accept payments on your website.
