How to Set Up Square as a Payment Method on Zibster
Zibster integrates with Square to let you accept credit and debit card payments for your ECommerce store, Scheduler bookings, Invoices, and Forms. This guide will walk you through connecting your Square account to your Zibster website.
🔁 Refunds
All refunds must be processed directly through your Square account — they cannot be issued from Zibster.

STEP ONE
Log into Zibster
Log into your Zibster account and go to the ECommerce section of your control panel.
STEP TWO
Go to Merchant Settings
Hover over Payment in the top menu and click on Merchants.
STEP THREE
Add Square as Your Merchant
Click the NEW MERCHANT button.
- By default, the merchant is set to Stripe.
- Click the dropdown and select Square.
- Click Connect to Square to continue.
STEP FOUR
Log Into Your Square Account
A new window will open prompting you to sign in to your Square account.
- Already have a Square account? Log in and authorize the connection.
- Don’t have a Square account? Click Sign Up and follow the steps to create one.
Once connected, Zibster will link your Square account, and you’ll be ready to start accepting payments.
STEP FIVE
Configure Square Settings
Click Configure New Square Account to check your settings.
- Make sure the correct card types are selected.
- Confirm that all preferences are accurate for your business needs.
FINAL STEP
Save and Start Accepting Payments
Click Save Changes to complete your setup.
✅ Your website is now ready to accept payments through Square!
⚠️ Reminder:
Square card readers cannot be used for website purchases.
If you’re taking in-person payments, continue to use the Square mobile app and card reader for those transactions.
