Zibster Website Package includes different blocks that allow you to easily add text to your pages. Within the text editor, you can link any of your text to other pages in your site or other pages online. This guide will walk you through how to make text content on your website clickable/tapable and link it.
Important Note: You can also use the BUTTON field on your text editor block and text + image block for easier linking and a visual button.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Navigate to the page where you have a text block or text + image block and want to add a hyperlink. Enter the text you want to display, then highlight the text you want to make clickable. Click on the Insert/Edit Link button in the text editor toolbar.
STEP THREE
A window will pop up where you can enter the following details:
- URL: The web address you want to link to.
- Text to Display: The highlighted text that will be clickable on your page.
- Title (Optional): Text that appears as a tooltip when a user hovers over the clickable text.
- Target: Choose whether the link should open in the current window ("None") or a new window. Use "None" for links within your site and "New Window" for external sites.
