Control Panel Not Displaying Correctly? Check Your Browser Version and Clear Cache

If your Zibster control panel is not displaying correctly, appears incomplete, or certain buttons and menus are missing, the issue is most often related to your web browser. While your live Zibster website works in all modern browsers, the Zibster control panel performs best when accessed using an up-to-date browser, specifically the latest version of Google Chrome.

Most display issues are caused by outdated browser versions or stored browser data (cache). This article walks you through simple steps to restore the control panel so it loads correctly.

STEP ONE

Check Your Browser and Install Updates

Zibster supports modern web browsers, but the control panel works best in the latest version of Google Chrome. If your browser is outdated, parts of the control panel may not load or display properly.

Open your browser’s settings and check for available updates. Install any updates, then reload your Zibster control panel.

If the control panel displays correctly after updating, no further steps are required.

STEP TWO

Refresh the Control Panel

Log in to your Zibster account and navigate to the area of the control panel that is not displaying correctly. Refresh the page and allow it to fully reload.

If the layout, menus, or buttons are still missing or misaligned, proceed to the next step.

STEP THREE

Clear Your Browser Cache

Open your browser’s settings and locate the option to clear browsing data or website data. Select cached images and files only. You do not need to clear saved passwords or autofill information.

After clearing the cache, completely close all browser windows to ensure the changes take effect.

FINAL STEP

Log Back In and Confirm the Fix

Reopen your browser and log back into your Zibster account. You may be prompted to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) after clearing your cache—this is expected.

Once logged in, return to the control panel section that was previously not displaying correctly. If cached data or an outdated browser was the cause, the control panel should now load normally with the correct layout and functionality.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

  • Zibster websites are compatible with all modern browsers.

  • The Zibster control panel supports modern browsers, but the latest version of Google Chrome is recommended for best performance.

  • Keeping your browser updated helps prevent many common display issues.

  • Browser extensions (such as ad blockers or security tools) may interfere with the control panel. Temporarily disabling extensions can help with troubleshooting.

Safari Users (Important)

  • Safari stores cached data more aggressively than many other browsers.

  • Clearing cache alone may not resolve display issues if Safari is outdated.

  • Safari updates are delivered through macOS updates, not directly through the Safari browser.

  • If issues persist in Safari, check for available macOS updates and install the latest version supported by your Mac.

After updating macOS, reopen Safari, log back into Zibster, and check the control panel again.

Troubleshooting / FAQs

The issue only happens on one browser or computer

If the Zibster control panel works correctly in another browser or on another device, the issue is local to that specific browser or computer. Updating the browser and clearing the cache typically resolves the problem.

You get an error message saying your don't have access to a resource in your control panel.

This is fix for this is usually to refresh your page and try to load it again and if you get the error again, clearing your browser cache and restarting your browser.
