How to Add Special Instructions to a Scheduler Service in Zibster
The Zibster Scheduler allows clients to book appointments directly through your website for both free and paid services. Each Scheduler service includes a Special Instructions section that lets you request additional information from clients or share important notes they must review before booking. This article explains how to add or edit Special Instructions for a Scheduler service so clients are prompted during the booking process.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster dashboard and click Scheduler from the left-side menu. This opens the Scheduler control panel where all services are managed.
STEP TWO
At the top of the Scheduler control panel, click Services to view your list of Scheduler services.
STEP THREE
Click the name of the Scheduler service you want to edit.
You can also create a new Scheduler service if needed. Selecting a service opens its settings in the right-side panel.
STEP FOUR
In the right-side panel, click Instructions. This section controls the Special Instructions field clients see during booking.
In this section, configure the following options:

Label
This is the title shown to clients on the Scheduler booking page. -
Description
This text appears below the label and explains what information you are requesting or what clients should review. -
Required
Set this option to Yes if clients must complete the field before booking, or No if the field is optional.
FINAL STEP
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the right-side panel to apply your updates and make them live.
What Clients Will See
When Special Instructions are enabled, clients will see your custom label and description displayed on the Scheduler booking page along with a text field for their response.
If the field is marked as required, clients must complete it before they can schedule their appointment. This ensures you collect important details before the session is confirmed.
