How to Make Your Email Address Clickable on Your Website
Want to make it easy for people to email you right from your website? You can! With your Zibster (Builder) website, you can turn your email address into a clickable link. When visitors click it, their email app will open with your address already filled in — ready for them to send a message.
Here’s how to do it using a simple mailto: link.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on WEBSITE in the left-hand menu.
STEP TWO
Select the page that you want to have a clickable email address on.
STEP THREE
Type your email address into a Text Content block on your website.
STEP FOUR
Highlight the email address you just typed.
STEP FIVE
Click the Insert/Edit Link icon in the toolbar.
STEP SIX
In the URL field, type:
mailto:youremail@domain.com
Be sure to replace
youremail@domain.comwith your actual email address — and don’t include any spaces.
Click OK to save the link.
FINAL STEP
Click Save Content to update your page.
Now your email address will be clickable for visitors — making it easy for them to contact you directly!
