If you're rebranding or you're changing what you're using your Zibster website for, you can easily change the domain name you have on your account. This guide will walk you through how to request a domain name change on your Zibster website if you already have one set up.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you have change your domain name on your account, you will temporarily lose access to your website builder and content while the domain and SSL certificate update. This generally will last 24-48 hours and once the propagation period has passed, you'll have your access restored.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on the black and white question mark at the lower right corner of your control panel.
STEP TWO
Scroll down to create a support ticket. Your email address you use to sign into your account will be prefilled for where the reply to your ticket will be sent.
You'll want to select the following options:
- Under PRODUCT/SECTION choose ACCOUNT
- Under SUBJECT choose DOMAIN & EMAIL
- Under DESCRIPTION enter the new domain name you are changing your domain name to.
Click SEND
After you click Send, one of our domain specialists will follow up with you during regular business hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm EST for next steps.
You'll have a ticket number for a confirmation that your request has been submitted.
