Connecting PayPal to Your Zibster Account
Zibster integrates with PayPal and other popular payment providers so you can easily accept payments through your Store, Scheduler, and Invoices. This guide will walk you through how to connect your PayPal account as a payment option.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Zibster is not affiliated with PayPal or any other merchant service provider. We simply offer integration so you can connect your account.
If you have any questions about your PayPal account—such as billing, refunds, or technical support—please contact PayPal Support directly.
Note: Refunds for transactions made through PayPal must be issued from within your PayPal account.
If you're looking to use PayPal’s gateway service (Payflow Pro), check out our separate setup guide for that.
STEP ONE
Access the ECommerce section of your PhotoBiz control panel.
STEP TWO
Click on PAYMENT at the top of your control panel and in the drop down menu, select MERCHANTS.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW MERCHANT button.
STEP FOUR
Choose PayPal as your payment method.
STEP FIVE
Fill out the required fields:
-
Payment Name (e.g., Pay with PayPal)

PayPal is now active as a payment option!
💡 Pro Tip
When customers select PayPal at checkout, they’ll be redirected to the PayPal website to complete payment. This might impact conversion rates slightly since the checkout experience moves off your website.
To help reduce confusion and maintain trust, we recommend adding a note in the Special Instructions section like:
"You’ll be redirected to PayPal to complete your secure payment. No PayPal account is required—you can pay using any major credit or debit card."
WANT PAYPAL CHECKOUT TO STAY ON YOUR SITE?
If you’d prefer your customers to enter credit card details without leaving your site, consider using:
- Payflow Pro (PayPal’s gateway service)
- Stripe
- Square
These keep the payment process embedded on your website for a smoother checkout experience.
OFFER MULTIPLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
You can connect as many merchant options as you like. Many businesses offer both:
- “Pay with Credit Card” (via Stripe, Square, etc.)
- “Pay via PayPal”
Customers can choose their preferred option at checkout.
