You may want to insert a single video within a text area to have more control over the way it displays. When you use a video in an open text area, editing the embed code a bit will make the video more responsive, both on your website and on mobile devices. Follow the steps below to learn how.
First, you'll need to get an HTML embed code for your video from YouTube or Vimeo. After you've copied the code, access your website through your control panel and the page you'd like to add the video to. In the text content box, click on the HTML tab. Paste the code you copied in the box.
The code you paste in will look something like this:
Within the code, there are two values for "width" and "height". Both of these numbers are in pixel dimensions. In order to make it responsive to devices, we need to use a percentage value for the width. Replace the number with 100% to make the video fill the width of the page.
Click on save content at the bottom of the box to save your code.
