How to Adjust Load More Options in a List Block
Overview
The List Block in Zibster gives you a flexible way to display grouped content on your website, such as featured services, resources, links, team members, or other organized information. When your List Block includes multiple items, you can use the Load More feature to control how many items display at first and allow visitors to reveal additional items as needed.
This guide walks you through how to adjust the Load More display style inside a List Block in the Zibster Website Builder.
Prerequisites
Before getting started, make sure you already have:
- A Zibster website page created
- A List Block added to the page
- Multiple list items added to the List Block
- A supported List Block layout selected
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Website Builder, where you can edit your website pages and content blocks.
STEP TWO
Open the page that contains your List Block.
Click the List Block you want to update to open the block settings panel. You can also click the upper-right corner of the List Block and choose CHANGE LAYOUT if you need to review or update the selected layout.
STEP THREE
Select a supported List Block layout that includes the Load More feature.
Some List Block layouts also include Link Style options, which allow you to choose how the Load More option appears on your website. Available Link Style options may include Button, Text Only, and Last Grid Item.
For supported layouts that do not include Link Style options, the Load More option uses the Last Grid Item style automatically.

The Load More settings are layout dependent. If you do not see the Load More or Last Item settings in your block panel, change the List Block layout and check the settings again.
STEP FOUR
Locate the Last Item settings section in the right-side panel.
Enable the Load More option if it is not already turned on. This allows your List Block to show a limited number of items first, then display additional items when a visitor clicks the Load More option.
STEP FIVE
Under Link Style, choose how you want the Load More option to appear on your website.
Link Text controls the text that appears for the Load More link.
Depending on the selected layout, you may be able to choose from:
Button: Displays a clickable button visitors can use to load additional list items.
Text Only: Displays a simple text link.
Last Grid Item: Uses the final visible list item area as the interactive prompt to load more content.
If your selected layout does not include the Link Style dropdown, the Load More option will use the Last Grid Item style automatically.
After selecting your preferred Link Style, click SAVE CHANGES to apply the update.
FINAL STEP
Visit the page on your website to preview how the selected Load More option appears and functions for visitors.
Your List Block will now display the Load More option using the style you selected. Visitors can click the Load More option to view additional list items without leaving the page.

Choosing the Best Load More Style
Different Load More styles create different browsing experiences for your visitors.
Button styles are more prominent and easier to notice.
Text Only styles create a cleaner, minimal appearance.
Last Grid Item styles create a more interactive browsing experience.
You can switch between styles at any time without affecting your List Block items or content.
Customizing Last Grid Item Colors
If you choose Last Grid Item, you can customize its colors from the COLORS tab in the List Block settings.
Available color settings include:
Last Item Text Color
Last Item Background Color
These settings control how the Last Grid Item prompt appears on your website.
Layout Compatibility
The customizable Load More feature is only available on supported List Block layouts.
If you do not see the Load More settings, confirm that your List Block is using a supported layout. You can change the block layout by opening the List Block settings and choosing CHANGE LAYOUT.
Troubleshooting
I do not see the Load More settings.
Load More settings are only available on supported List Block layouts. Open the List Block settings, choose CHANGE LAYOUT, and select one of the supported layouts listed in this guide.
I do not see the Link Style dropdown.
Some supported layouts do not include the Link Style dropdown. When this happens, the Load More option uses the Last Grid Item style automatically.
My Load More option is not showing on the live website.
Make sure the List Block has enough list items for the Load More feature to apply. If all items are already visible, the Load More option may not appear. Also confirm that your changes were saved by clicking SAVE CHANGES.
