How to Use the Forms Dashboard in Zibster
Overview
The Forms Dashboard gives you a quick overview of how your forms are performing in your Zibster account. You can use the dashboard to review recent submissions, track new and read responses, identify your top-performing forms, and access form reports from one central place.
This guide explains each section of the Forms Dashboard and how to use the available reporting tools to monitor form activity, review submission trends, and open detailed submission information.
Accessing The Forms Dashboard
Log into your Zibster account and click FORMS in the left-side menu.
This opens the Forms Dashboard, where you can review your form activity, track submissions, and access detailed reports for your forms.
Understanding Your Forms Dashboard
Once you are inside the Forms Dashboard, you will see several sections that provide insight into your form activity. Many areas of the dashboard are interactive, so you can click graphs, form names, category names, and submission links to view more detailed information.
Dashboard Summary
The Dashboard Summary gives you a quick snapshot of your form activity for the selected year. By default, the dashboard displays the current year. You can use the arrows next to the year to view form activity from previous years.
This section includes:
Total Submissions: The total number of form submissions received during the selected year.
New Submissions: The total number of submissions that have not been viewed yet during the selected year.
Active Forms: The number of forms currently active on your account year to date.
Forms Overview
The Forms Overview section shows your form submissions by month for the selected year. This helps you see when clients or website visitors are submitting forms most often.
You can hover over each bar in the graph to view the number of submissions for that month. You can also click a monthly bar to open a more detailed view of the submissions received during that month.
Submission Status
The Submission Status section shows your form submissions by status, including New and Read submissions.
New submissions are submissions that have not been viewed yet. Read submissions are submissions that have already been opened and reviewed.
If you click New, the page will scroll down to the Recent Submissions section of the dashboard. If you click Read, you will be taken to the Submissions section of your Forms control panel.
Submissions automatically move from New to Read after you open and review them.
Top Performing
The Top Performing section shows your top 5 forms with the most submissions year to date. This is helpful for seeing which forms your clients, customers, or website visitors use most often.
You can click the form name or the bar graph for any form in this section to view the year-to-date submissions for that specific form.
Recent Submissions
The Recent Submissions section shows the 10 most recent form submissions received through your forms. This allows you to quickly open and review new client inquiries, questionnaires, order forms, contracts, registrations, or other form responses.
Click any individual submission to view the submission details. You can also click View All Submissions at the bottom of this section to access all submissions for the selected year.
Form Categories
The Form Categories section shows your form categories and the number of submissions connected to forms within each category. This is helpful if you organize forms by workflow, service type, school, team, event, client group, or business process.
You can click the category name or the bar graph to open a submissions report for the forms in that category. This allows you to quickly review submissions by category instead of searching through all form submissions.
Additional Options and Helpful Notes
The Forms Dashboard is designed to help you monitor form activity without opening each form individually.
You can use the Forms Dashboard to:
• Track new customer or client inquiries
• Review recent form submissions
• See which forms receive the most responses
• Compare submission activity by month
• Review submissions by form category
• Access detailed submission reports faster
If you manage several forms, categories can make your dashboard easier to review. For example, you may use categories for inquiries, consultations, registrations, contracts, order forms, events, schools, teams, or internal workflows.
Keeping your forms organized by category can make it easier for your team to find the submissions they need and understand which forms are being used most often.
