How to Send an Email Invitation for a Zibster Blog Post

Overview

Zibster includes a Blog feature that allows you to share updates, promotions, announcements, featured sessions, business news, and helpful content with your audience. After publishing a blog post, you can use the Email Invite option to send an email invitation directly to selected contacts or email addresses.

This guide walks you through how to send an email invitation for a published Zibster Blog post and how to check the invite status afterward.

Important Note Before You Begin

Your blog post must be published before you can send an email invitation.

If a contact has previously unsubscribed from your marketing emails, they will not receive the blog post email invitation.

Email invitations are sent only to the contacts or email addresses you select.

You can send an email invitation to existing contacts in your contact database or manually enter new email addresses.

STEP ONE

Log into your Zibster account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.

This opens your Blog section, where you can create, edit, publish, and share blog posts.

STEP TWO

Open the published blog post you want to share.

Click the name of the blog post you want to share. If you have many blog posts, you can use the search bar to locate the post by name.

Review the post to make sure the content is complete and the post is published.

STEP THREE

After the blog post has been published, click the SHARE button toward the top right of the blog post builder.

This opens the sharing options for your published blog post.

STEP FOUR

In the right-side share menu, select EMAIL INVITE.

The Email Invite option allows you to send a branded email invitation that links readers directly to your published blog post.

STEP FIVE

Add the contacts or email addresses you want to invite.

You can type the name or email address of an existing contact, and Zibster will display matching contacts from your contact database.

You can also enter a new email address manually. If the email address is not already saved as a contact, you can still add it to the email invitation.

After adding the contacts or email addresses you want to include, click CONTINUE at the bottom of the right-side menu.

STEP SIX

Customize your email invitation before sending.

You can review and update the following email invite details:

FROM NAME

FROM EMAIL ADDRESS

SUBJECT

MESSAGE

Use these fields to make the invitation clear and personal. For example, your subject line can briefly explain what the blog post is about, and your message can encourage the recipient to read the post.

FINAL STEP

Click SEND to send the email invitation to the selected contacts or email addresses.

After the invitation has been sent, Zibster will display a confirmation screen.

What the Recipient Receives

The recipient will receive a branded email invitation in their inbox. The email includes your business branding and information, along with a link to view the published blog post.

This makes it easy to share a specific blog post with clients, leads, featured customers, vendors, team members, or anyone else who may be interested in the content.

Checking Email Invite Status

You can check whether a blog post email invitation was delivered or opened from the contact’s profile.

STEP ONE

Click CONTACTS in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Open the contact you want to review.

STEP THREE

Click the EMAIL INVITES tab.

This section shows email invite activity for that contact, including:

NAME/SUBJECT

SENT DATE

STATUS

The status helps you confirm whether the email invite was sent, delivered, or opened.

Helpful Tips

Use Email Invite when you want to share a blog post with specific people instead of sending it to a larger marketing list.

This is useful for sending a blog post to a featured client, a small group of leads, referral partners, vendors, or anyone mentioned in the post.

Keep your subject line clear so recipients understand why they are receiving the email.

Use the message field to briefly explain what the blog post is about and why the recipient may want to read it.

Troubleshooting / FAQs
