The Zibster Form & Contract builder allows you to easily accept donations from your customers or supporters. This guide will walk you through the steps of setting up a form to accept donations.
Important Note: You can set up your donation form using a range of donation amounts, but clients cannot enter a custom donation amount. If someone wants to donate a custom amount, consider adding a note to your form with instructions on how to contact you directly.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on FORMS in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Click on the name of the form you want to use for donations, or create a new form by selecting CREATE NEW FORM.
STEP THREE
In the FORM FIELDS section on the right, go to the MISCELLANEOUS category, and select the PAYMENT block. This will enable donations to be accepted directly through your form.
STEP FOUR
After adding the PAYMENT field, configure it for donations. Click on the payment field in your form to start setting donation options.
Set your base price to $0.00 to allow a range of donation amounts.
STEP FIVE
Add a RADIO SELECT field to offer donors a choice of suggested amounts (e.g., $25, $50, $100).
STEP SIX
Click the PENCIL ICON at the top right of the Radio option and choose ADVANCED in the dropdown menu.
STEP SEVEN
Select CHOICE 1 to configure the first donation option.
STEP EIGHT
Enter the title as DONATE and the ADDITIONAL FEE as the donation amount. Click SAVE CHANGES to apply this donation option.
Repeat these steps to add more donation choices as needed.
As you add donation amounts, you’ll see them appear in your form builder.
FINAL STEPS
Once your form is ready, it will look similar to the screenshot below. You can embed the donation form on your website using a form block, or keep it as a standalone page and share it with potential donors using Email Invitations.
