You can easily edit the metadata for every page on your Zibster website. This includes the meta title, meta description, and meta keywords.

Metadata helps Google understand how to categorize your website. Each page should have unique metadata that clearly describes the page's content, focusing on the who, what, and where of your business. This guide will walk you through the steps to edit the metadata for your Zibster website.

STEP ONE

Log into your Zibster account and click on the WEBSITE tab in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the web page you'd like to edit, then click on the SEO button on the right side of the page.

STEP THREE

Under the METAS section, click on the drop-down menu for Search Engine Preview and choose CUSTOM.

FINAL STEP

After selecting CUSTOM, you can customize your Meta Title, Meta Description, and Meta Keywords.

Be sure to click on SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the SEO section to apply your updates.

Repeat these steps for every page on your website to ensure each page has custom metadata.

BEST PRACTICES:

META TITLE:
Your Page Title should be a brief and accurate description of your website and business. It appears in both Google search results and browser tabs. The best practice is to use 55-60 characters.

Example: Jenny Jones Wedding Photography | Greater Los Angeles Area.

META DESCRIPTION:
Your Page Description should summarize your page's content. Search engines use this to give users a brief summary of the page before they click on it. The best practice is to use between 50-155 characters.

Example: Jenny Jones is a PPA certified photographer specializing in wedding and engagement photography for over 5 years, serving the Greater Los Angeles Area.

META KEYWORDS:
Keywords and phrases should be unique, relevant to the page content, and separated by commas. Use no more than 15 keyword phrases per page to avoid being penalized by search engines.

Example: Jenny Jones Wedding Photography, Los Angeles Wedding Photography, Los Angeles Wedding Portraits.
