How to Create a Referral Form and Add It to Your Zibster Website
If you want to collect referrals for your services, you can do this in Zibster by creating a referral form and placing it on your website. While Zibster does not include a built-in referral rewards program, Forms allow you to gather referral information in one place so you can follow up manually.
This article walks you through creating a referral form, adding it to a dedicated website page, and linking that page in your site footer so it is easy for visitors to find.
By the end of this guide, you will have a live referral page on your Zibster website that can be accessed from anywhere on your site.
STEP ONE
CREATE A REFERRAL FORM
Log in to your Zibster account and click FORMS from the left-side menu. Click NEW FORM to create a new form. You can start with a basic or simple form layout.
Add fields that allow someone to submit a referral. Common fields include:
-
Referrer’s name
-
Referrer’s email address
-
Name of the person being referred
-
Email address of the referred person
-
Optional message or notes field
Once all fields are added, review the form settings and click SAVE. Your referral form is now ready to be added to your website.

CREATE A REFERRAL PAGE ON YOUR WEBSITE
Click WEBSITE in the left-side menu and either open an existing page or create a new page for referrals. Many businesses name this page “Refer a Friend” or “Client Referrals.”
With the page open in the Website Builder, add a Form Block to the page. From the form list, select the referral form you created in STEP ONE.
Above the form, add a short explanation describing how referrals work and what information the visitor should provide.
Save and publish the page to make the referral form live on your website.

Open your website editor and locate the Footer Sitemap Block. This block controls the links that appear in your site-wide footer.
Add a new link to the referral page you created. This ensures the referral form is accessible from every page on your website, including blog posts and landing pages.
Save your changes to apply the update across your site.
