How to Rename Blocks & Add Anchor Links in Zibster
Your Zibster Website Builder organizes content into blocks. Renaming blocks helps you stay organized while editing your site, and these block names can also be used to create anchor links. Anchor links allow visitors to jump directly to specific sections on a page, such as “Pricing,” “About,” or “Contact Form.”
This guide will walk you through:

How to use those block names to create anchor links
Part 1: How to Rename Blocks
Renaming blocks helps improve organization, makes editing faster, and allows you to easily identify blocks when creating anchor links.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Select the page that contains the block you want to rename.
STEP THREE
Click on the block name located in the top right corner of the block.
STEP FOUR
In the right-side panel, type a clear name for your block—such as “Pricing Section” or “Contact Form.”
Click Save Changes to update the name.
FINAL STEP
The updated name will now appear in your Website Builder, making it easier to locate the block during future edits.
Helpful Note: Renaming is especially useful when you have multiple Text Editor Blocks, Text + Image Blocks, or Images Blocks on the same page.
Part 2: How to Add Anchor Links
After renaming your blocks, you can use those names to create anchor links. These allow visitors to jump directly to the section of the page they want to see.
STEP ONE
In the Website Builder, open the page that contains the block you want to link to.
STEP TWO
Click on the block’s name in the top right corner to ensure it is clearly labeled. This name will appear when choosing a block for your anchor link.
STEP THREE
Go to the page where you want to add the clickable anchor link. This may be inside a Button Block, List Block, Text Editor Block, Text + Image Block, or any other block type that supports links.
STEP FOUR
When adding the link:
-
Select Page
-
Then choose the Block you want the link to jump to
FINAL STEP
