The Policy Settings section of your Zibster control panel allows you to set up your GDPR policy, Privacy Policy, and Opt-in for Email Marketing. This guide will walk you through how to find these settings in your Zibster account.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on the MY ACCOUNT tab on the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the SETTINGS option at the top of your My Account controls and click on POLICY SETTINGS in the drop down menu.
FINAL STEP
You'll find the following options in this section:
- GDPR POLICY CHECKBOX LABEL: Enter a line of text here and link to your Privacy Policy if you need visitors to agree before they submit their data. This will appear as a required checkbox on forms, and during checkout with ECommerce.
- BACKUP PRIVACY POLICY: If you don't have a Privacy Policy page yet, use this box to explain what you do with the personal data you collect. Your GDPR privacy checkbox will link to this text so users can know how you handle their data.
Please Note: This will not work if you have a link set up above, so be sure to link to your Privacy Policy page if you have one.
- MARKETING EMAILS OPT-IN: Allows visitors to opt-in to receive promotional or marketing emails from you when their information is collected. This will appear as a checkbox on forms and during checkout with ECommerce.
