How to Set Up Gift Cards in Zibster
Gift Cards in Zibster allow your clients to purchase prepaid credit that can be redeemed toward eligible purchases made through your Online Store and Scheduler. Zibster lets you control how gift cards are purchased by offering either a flexible dollar range or fixed dollar increments. This article walks you through how to enable gift cards and configure how clients can buy them on your website.
By the end of this guide, your gift cards will be set up and ready to sell.
Important: Enabling gift cards in ECommerce settings does not automatically make them visible to clients. You must also add a Gift Cards Block to a page in the Website Builder so clients can purchase them.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click ECOMMERCE from the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
At the top of the ECommerce control panel, hover over SELL ONLINE, then click GIFT CARDS from the drop-down menu.
STEP THREE
Click the SETTINGS button on the right side of the screen. This opens the Gift Card Preferences panel.
STEP FOUR
CHOOSE YOUR GIFT CARD FORMAT
In the Gift Card Preferences panel, use the Gift Card Amount dropdown to choose how clients can select gift card values.
You can choose one of the following options.
Range

Set a minimum and maximum dollar amount

Clients can enter any value within that range
Example:
If you set a range of $25 to $500, a client can enter $40, $275, or any amount between those values.
Increments

Set specific fixed dollar amounts

Clients select one amount from a dropdown list
Example:
$25, $50, $100, $250, $500
When finished, click SAVE CHANGES.
FINAL STEP
After configuring your gift card settings, add a Gift Cards Block to a page in your Website Builder. This step is required for clients to view and purchase gift cards on your website.
Once the block is added, gift cards will be available for purchase based on the settings you configured.
Gift Card Block Examples
Gift Card - Increments Example:
- With the Increments setting, your gift card block will display a drop-down menu with the predetermined amounts you’ve set. Clients can select from these fixed amounts.
Gift Card - Range Example:
- With the Range setting, your gift card block will allow clients to enter any amount within the specified range. If the amount entered is outside the set range, clients will see a message indicating that the amount is either below the minimum or above the maximum.
