How to Create a Gift Card in Zibster
Gift Cards in Zibster allow you to apply prepaid credit toward online purchases made through your ECommerce. You can use gift cards for prepaid orders, customer rewards, contest prizes, Scheduler services, or general account credit. This article walks you through how to create, send, and manage gift cards in your Zibster account.
Gift Cards cannot be used toward invoices or form payments.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click ECOMMERCE from the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Hover over SELL ONLINE, then select GIFT CARDS from the dropdown menu.
STEP THREE
Click the NEW GIFT CARD button.
STEP FOUR
ENTER GIFT CARD DETAILS
In the settings panel, enter the following information:

AMOUNT: The dollar value of the gift card

DESCRIPTION: An internal note for your reference, such as a session credit, contest prize, or customer reward
When finished, click ADD GIFT CARD to generate the gift card.
You will see a confirmation message indicating the gift card was created successfully. The new gift card will appear at the top of the Gift Card list.
STEP FIVE
SEND THE GIFT CARD TO YOUR CLIENT
To email the gift card, enter your client’s email address in the email field and click RESEND. Zibster will send a branded email directly to your client.
You may also manually share the gift card number by copying and pasting it into an email, text message, or other communication method.
PRO TIP!
You can edit the gift card number for easier customer use by clicking on the number and modifying it on the next screen.
Once sent, you will see a confirmation message that the gift card email was delivered.
FINAL STEP
MANAGE YOUR GIFT CARD
Your gift card will remain visible in the Gift Card list, where you can track and manage it at any time.
Each column in the Gift Card list provides helpful information:

Number – The code your client uses at checkout

Description – Internal notes for your reference

Order No. – Displays if the gift card was purchased online

Created – The date the gift card was created

Amount – The original value of the gift card

Balance – The remaining available balance

Status – Indicates whether the gift card is active or inactive
Helpful Notes

Gift card numbers can be customized by clicking directly on the number in the list.

Gift Cards can be used for purchases made through your Zibster ECommerce.

Gift Cards remain active until the balance reaches zero or the card is manually deactivated.

Gift Cards cannot be applied to invoices or form payments.
Deleting a Gift Card
To delete a gift card, check the box next to the gift card number in the list.
Click DELETE at the top of the page, then confirm by selecting YES, DELETE IT.
Deleted gift cards cannot be recovered. If a gift card is deleted, a new one must be created.
