You can control how the search bar and cart button display on your website under the SETTINGS tab in your control panel. This guide will show you how to enable/disable the site search and shopping cart icon on your website as well as your options for configuring both icons if you have either of them displayed on your website.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and open your WEBSITE section.
STEP TWO
Click on SETTINGS at the top-center of the Website control panel.
STEP THREE
Click on SEARCH/CART button to access the DISPLAY SEARCH & DISPLACE CART icon options.
You can choose from 3 different options for how you want to display your site search and shopping cart icons.
- No - this disables the icon(s) from displaying on your website.
- With Social Media Icons - this option display the icon(s) along side the social media icons you have enabled on your website.
- With Site Links - this option displays the icon(s) along side any site links you have enabled on your website.
DISPLAY SEARCH ICON
Add a search function to your website to allow your customers to easily find products, services, or blog posts that match their search. You can display the search icon alongside your social media icons or with your site links.
If you choose to display the search function with your site links, you will need to select the type. Types include: Button, Icon only, Text and Icon, and Text only.
- Button: Display the search function as a "search" button
- Icon only: Display only the search icon
- Text and Icon: Display the search icon with the text "search"
- Text only: Display only the text "search"
Click save changes to apply your selection to your website.
DISPLAY CART ICON
Display the shopping cart icon to allow your customers to easily access their saved carts. You can display the shopping cart icon alongside your social media icons or with your site links.
If you choose to display the shopping cart icon with your site links, you will need to select the type. Types include: Button, Icon only, Text and Icon, and Text only.
- Button: Display the shopping cart icon as a "view bag" button
- Icon only: Display only the cart icon
- Text and Icon: Display the shopping cart icon with the text "view cart"
- Text only: Display only the text "view cart"
Click save changes to apply your selection to your website.
