How to Add Tracking Codes to Individual Zibster Website Pages
Overview
The Zibster Website Builder allows you to add tracking codes to individual website pages. This is useful when a tracking provider gives you code that should load only on a specific page, such as a landing page, thank you page, or conversion page.
This guide explains how to add a tracking code to one specific page of your Zibster website.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Access to your Zibster account
- The tracking code provided by your third-party service
- Instructions from the provider indicating whether the code belongs in the Head or Body section
Tracking codes may be provided by services such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Bing Webmaster Tools, or other third-party tracking platforms.
STEP ONE
Log in to your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Zibster Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, navigation, and page content.
STEP TWO
Click the name of the page where you want to add the tracking code.
This opens the editor for that specific website page.
STEP THREE
Click SEO in the upper-right corner of the page editor.
The page settings panel will open on the right side of the screen.
FINAL STEP
Click the Tracking icon in the right-side menu.
Paste the tracking code into the Head or Body section, based on the placement instructions provided by your tracking service.
Click Save Changes to apply the tracking code.
Once saved, the tracking code will load only on the page you selected.
Additional Options and Helpful Notes
Tracking codes added through an individual page’s settings apply only to that page. To add a tracking code that loads across your entire Zibster website, use the main website tracking settings instead.
Always follow the placement instructions from the tracking provider. Code intended for the Head section should be added to the Head field. Code intended for the Body section should be added to the Body field.
Common uses for page-specific tracking codes include:
- Ad conversion tracking
- Thank you page tracking
- Landing page tracking
- Event-specific tracking
- Campaign-specific scripts
- Form submission confirmation tracking
Adding the same tracking code in both the website-wide settings and the individual page settings may cause the code to run more than once. Check your existing tracking settings before adding duplicate code.
Zibster does not create, troubleshoot, or guarantee the functionality of third-party tracking code. Contact the tracking provider if you need help identifying the correct code or placement location.
