How to Create Scheduler Service Categories in Zibster
Your Zibster Website Package includes the Scheduler, which allows clients to easily book appointments with you directly through your website. You can offer both free and paid booking options, depending on your service setup.
This guide walks you through how to create categories to organize your Scheduler services.
STEP ONE
Log into Your Zibster Account
Log into your Zibster account and click SCHEDULER from the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Open the Services Area
At the top of your Scheduler control panel, click SERVICES to create a new service or edit existing ones.
STEP THREE
Add a New Category
Click the NEW CATEGORY button to add a new Scheduler service category.
STEP FOUR
Edit Category Details
Click the Pencil icon next to the new category to edit its name and add a category image.
STEP FIVE
Customize the Category Details
A panel will open on the right side where you can customize your Scheduler service category:
Details
-
Category Name: Enter the name you’d like to display for this Scheduler service category.
-
Category Image (Optional): Upload a JPG or PNG, paste an image from your clipboard, or use a stock image. The image will display on your website if you feature this category on a page.
-
Alt Text (Optional): Add a short image description for accessibility and SEO.
STEP SIX
Adjust SEO & Search Settings
By default, the SEO settings are set to AUTO. You can:
-
Use Ask Zibster AI to automatically generate a meta title, description, and keywords based on your business profile.
-
Or, choose Manual from the dropdown to create your own SEO details.
Click SAVE CHANGES when finished.
FINAL STEP
Organize or Create Services Within the Category
Once your Scheduler service category is created, you can:
-
Move existing Scheduler services into that category.
-
Create new Scheduler services directly within that category.
You can also feature your Scheduler service categories on your website using the Scheduler Block and choosing Display by Service Category.
