How to Use the Block List in Your Zibster Mailbox
Your Zibster Mailbox includes built-in tools to help you control unwanted or spam messages. One of the most effective tools is the Block List, which lets you block specific email addresses, domains, or IP addresses. Once blocked, those senders will no longer reach your inbox, helping you maintain a clean and secure mailbox.
When to Use the Block List
Use the Block List if you:
- Receive repeated spam or phishing emails from the same sender or domain
- Want to stop messages from a specific company or email address
- Need to block communication from a certain IP address for added security
Messages from anyone on your Block List are automatically filtered out.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster Mailbox at https://mailbox.zibster.com
STEP TWO
Click the menu icon in the top-right corner, then select Settings from the dropdown.
STEP THREE
Click Spam Settings to access your spam and security tools.
STEP FOUR
Select the Blocklist tab at the top. You’ll see options to block:
- Domains
- Email Addresses
- IP Addresses
STEP FIVE
Add the email address, domain, or IP you want to block. Type or paste it into the pop-up window, then click Add.
FINAL STEP
Your updated Block List will appear on screen. Click Save to apply your changes.
How to Unblock an Email Address
STEP ONE
Return to Spam Settings in your Zibster Mailbox settings.
STEP TWO
Click the Blocklist tab.
STEP THREE
Find the email address, domain, or IP you want to remove and click the trash icon or remove option next to it.
FINAL STEP
Click Save. The sender will now be able to contact you again.
