If you’re selling any products that require shipping or local pickup, you’ll want to create shipping methods in your Zibster ECommerce settings. Shipping methods may include options like flat-rate shipping, percentage-based shipping, or free local pickup.
Once created, your shipping methods will automatically appear during checkout, and Zibster will calculate the totals based on your settings.
Follow the steps below to add a new shipping method.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
At the top of your ECommerce control panel, click PAYMENTS, then select SHIPPING from the drop-down menu.
STEP THREE
Click the NEW SHIPPING METHOD button.
STEP FOUR
Set up your shipping method using the fields on screen. You can customize:
Name
Enter the name of your shipping method. This will appear for customers at checkout.
Example: Flat Rate Shipping, Local Pickup, USPS Priority.
Description (Optional)
Add any helpful details your customers should know, such as estimated delivery times or pickup instructions.
Price
Choose one of the following pricing options:
-
Flat Shipping – Set a fixed dollar amount.
-
Percentage Shipping – Charge a percentage of the order total and optionally set a minimum price.
Exclude Additional Shipping Charges
If you use extra per-product shipping fees in your product settings, choose whether those fees should be included or excluded from this shipping method.
Multiple Methods Are Allowed
You can offer several shipping options so customers can choose what works best for them.
Additional Option: Creating a Free Local Pickup Method
If you want to offer a no-cost in-person pickup option:
-
Name: Free Pickup In Studio
-
Description: Provide pickup details such as your location or how customers will be notified.
-
Price: Select Flat Shipping and enter $0.00.
-
Exclude Additional Shipping Charges: Choose Yes so the pickup method remains free even if products include extra shipping fees.
This method will appear in checkout as a free local pickup option for your customers.
