When creating a blog post, if you'd like to give your post an extra boost in SEO, you have the opportunity to control all the meta data for your blog posts on an individual basis.
STEP ONE
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and navigate to the Blog section in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Choose the Blog Post Title that you'd like to modify the SEO meta data.
STEP THREE
Click on the settings button in the top right corner and a menu on the right will appear.
STEP FOUR
Select the SEO section in this menu and select Custom underneath Metas. This will allow you to input custom meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, and Meta Keywords. The guidelines for each section are:
- Meta Title: 50-65 Characters.
- Meta Description: 100-155 Characters.
- Keywords: 10-15 Keywords or Phrases.
Once you have input the metadata you want, click save changes to have it apply to the blog.
PRO TIP!
Meta titles and Meta descriptions have character limits on what can be seen of a Search Engine Results Page. You can input more text than the character limit, but you should avoid doing so as it will not be seen.
Keywords also have a specific range to be effective. Having too little will not yield proper results and having too many can be seen as an unethical SEO practice.
Keep in mind that all Metadata should be Relevant to the content on the blog.
