Zibster ECommerce allows you to set up a merchant account to accept credit and debit card payments. You can also accept offline payments with Zelle, enabling customers to complete their orders online through your website and then pay you via their Zelle account. Please remember that your client must have a Zelle account as Zelle does not process credit/debit card payments like a merchant account does.
Important Note: Zibster is not affiliated with Zelle. For questions about Zelle functionality, pricing, etc., contact Zelle Customer Support.
PRO TIP!
If you're using Offline Payment methods, all orders in your Zibster account will show a status of Pending until you update them to Paid via the Payment Status section of the order. Once you update the payment status from Pending to Paid, clients can download digital images and products. Check out our guide on updating Payment
Status on Your Orders below:
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over PAYMENT at the top center of your ECommerce control panel. The drop-down menu will open, allowing you to click on MERCHANTS.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW MERCHANT button.
FINAL STEP
Select OFFLINE PAYMENT from the drop-down menu of available merchants. From there, configure the following options for your Offline Payment Method:
- Payment Name: Enter "Pay with Zelle."
- Active For: Only the Store tools support offline payment methods. This includes Scheduler, Products, and Services. Invoicing or Form Payments are not supported.
- Special Instructions: Include specific instructions on how to send you the payment via Zelle.
- Thank You Message: Customize a thank you message for clients selecting this option. Inform them that orders won't be processed until payment is received since it won't automatically come to you like a credit/debit card payment through your merchant would.
Click on the ADD MERCHANT button to add this to your list of available payment options.
After setting up Zelle, customers will see it along with any other payment options you've set up at the checkout screen. Below is a screenshot of what your customers might see if they select Zelle as their payment method.
