How to Customize the Cover Page for a Zibster Mood Board
Zibster Mood Boards include a built-in cover page that welcomes clients when they first open a Mood Board. The cover page helps set expectations, reinforce your branding, and guide clients into viewing the images. This article explains how to customize the cover page for any Mood Board in your Zibster account.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click MOOD BOARDS in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Choose the Mood Board to Share

Create a new Mood Board, or
-
Click the name of an existing Mood Board to open it.
Good to Know:
If you have multiple pages or categories of Mood Boards, you can use the search bar to quickly find a project by name.
STEP THREE
Click COVER PAGE in the left-side menu of the Mood Board control panel.
This opens all customization settings for the Mood Board cover page.
STEP FOUR
Review and adjust the available cover page options.
Cover Page Layout
Choose how content is arranged on the cover page. You can use the default layout or override your global design settings for this specific Mood Board.
Display Logo (Yes/No)
Choose whether your logo appears on the cover page.
Subtitle (Optional)
Add a short welcome message or instructions that appear below the Mood Board name.
Button Text
Change the default button text to something more descriptive, such as “View Images” or “Open Mood Board.”
STEP FIVE
Customize the Cover Image settings.
By default, the cover page background displays the first image from the Mood Board.
Within the Cover Image section, you can choose one of the following options:

Default Image
Uses the first image from the Mood Board automatically. -
Custom Image
Select CUSTOM IMAGE, then choose to:-
UPLOAD IMAGE

Select an image from the CLIPBOARD
Helpful Tip:
A horizontal image is strongly recommended so it fills the width of the viewer’s screen properly.
Maximum image size: 3000 × 1730 pixels. -

No Image
Select NO IMAGE if you do not want a background image displayed on the cover page.
STEP SIX
Adjust the Cover Image Opacity.

The default opacity is 40%

Set opacity to 0% if you want the image to display at full strength with no transparency

Higher opacity values make the image more transparent, helping text stand out
STEP SEVEN
Set the Image Focal Point.
Click the edit button to access the image focal point for the coverimage.
Use the focal point selector to control which part of the image stays centered across different screen sizes. This ensures important areas of the image are not cropped or hidden.
FINAL STEP
Scroll down and click Save Changes.
Your cover page updates are applied immediately.
What Clients See
Clients will see the customized cover page as soon as they open the Mood Board. This includes your chosen layout, background image (if enabled), logo, subtitle text, and button before they proceed to view the images.
