How to Customize SEO for Your Zibster Website Pages
Overview
Every page of your Zibster website includes built-in SEO tools that help search engines understand your content. These settings let you customize how each page may appear in search results on Google, Bing, and other search engines.
This guide walks you through how to customize SEO settings for an individual website page in the Zibster Website Builder. You can use ASK ZIBSTER AI to quickly generate your meta title, meta description, meta keywords, and schema markup. You can also customize your Friendly URL, add tracking code, and paste your own schema markup if you already have valid schema prepared.

Important Notes Before You Begin
ASK ZIBSTER AI is available in both the Metas section and the Schema section of the page-level SEO panel.
Each time you use ASK ZIBSTER AI in this area, it counts as 1 Zibster AI request toward your monthly total of 100 Zibster AI requests.
For example, using ASK ZIBSTER AI once to generate your meta title, meta description, and meta keywords counts as 1 request. Using ASK ZIBSTER AI again to generate schema markup counts as another request.
Before using ASK ZIBSTER AI for SEO or schema markup, review the Branding section of your Zibster account and make sure your business information is accurate. Zibster AI may use details from your Branding section and page content to help generate SEO content and schema markup.
If you plan to add schema markup manually, you should already have valid schema markup prepared before starting.
STEP ONE
Log in to your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Website Builder, where you can view and manage the pages on your website.
STEP TWO
Select the website page you want to optimize.
Choose the page you want search engines to better understand. This may be your Home page, About page, Services page, Contact page, portfolio page, blog post, landing page, or another important page on your website.
After the page opens, click SEO in the top-right corner of the page editor.
This opens the SEO settings panel for that specific page.
STEP THREE
Review the SEO panel that slides in from the right side of the screen.
The SEO panel includes four sections:
Metas
Friendly URL
Tracking
Schema
These options appear on the left side of the SEO panel and let you move between each page-level SEO setting.
STEP FOUR
In the Metas section, review the Search Engine Preview, meta title, meta description, and meta keywords.
The Search Engine Preview shows an example of how your page may appear in search results. Search engines may use your page content, meta title, and meta description to determine how the page appears in results.
Your SEO may be set to Auto or Custom. Auto SEO can provide a helpful starting point. Custom SEO gives you more control over the title, description, and keywords for that page.
STEP FIVE
Click ASK ZIBSTER AI to generate SEO content quickly.
Zibster AI uses information from your Branding section and the content on your page to generate a meta title, meta description, and meta keywords. This helps you create page-specific SEO content without having to write everything from scratch.
Using ASK ZIBSTER AI in the Metas section counts as 1 Zibster AI request toward your monthly total of 100 Zibster AI requests.
After Zibster AI adds the updated content, review the meta title, meta description, and meta keywords. You can make edits to adjust the wording, add your location, highlight a service, or better match the content on the page.
When you are ready, click SAVE CHANGES.
STEP SIX
Click Friendly URL on the left side of the SEO panel if you want to customize the page link.
A Friendly URL is the custom page link, sometimes called a URL slug. Short, descriptive URLs can help visitors and search engines understand what your page is about.
Choose Custom from the dropdown menu.
Enter a short, hyphenated phrase using letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
For example, a local service page could use:
your-city-business-services
When you are finished, click SAVE CHANGES.
STEP SEVEN
Click Tracking on the left side of the SEO panel if you need to add tracking code to this page.
This section is optional. Use it when you have tracking code from a third-party tool such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or another provider.
Paste your tracking code into the appropriate HEAD or BODY field based on the instructions from your tracking provider.
When you are finished, click SAVE CHANGES.
STEP EIGHT
Click Schema on the left side of the SEO panel if you want to add structured data to the page.
Schema markup is structured data that helps search engines better understand the content on your page. It can help search engines identify details such as your business name, location, services, contact information, social media links, FAQs, events, products, reviews, and other page-specific information.
Click ASK ZIBSTER AI to generate schema markup for the page. This is the recommended option for most Zibster users because you do not need to write schema markup manually.
Using ASK ZIBSTER AI in the Schema section counts as 1 Zibster AI request toward your monthly total of 100 Zibster AI requests.
After Zibster AI adds the generated schema markup, review it before saving. The schema markup should accurately match the visible content and business information on that page.
When you are finished, click SAVE CHANGES.
FINAL STEP
After you save your changes, your page’s SEO settings are applied to your website.
There is no separate publish button. Clicking SAVE CHANGES applies the update to your website.
Your Search Engine Preview updates so you can review how your meta title and meta description may appear in search results. Search engines may take time to crawl and update your listing, so changes may not appear in Google or Bing immediately.
Additional Options and Helpful Notes
You do not need to customize every page at once. Start with the most important pages on your website, such as:
Home page
About page
Services pages
Contact page
Portfolio or gallery pages
Location-specific pages
Blog posts or landing pages
For most users, ASK ZIBSTER AI is the easiest way to create SEO content. It helps generate a meta title, meta description, and meta keywords based on your business information and page content.
You should still review the generated SEO before saving. Make sure it accurately describes your services, location, and the content on the page.
You can also write your own SEO content by switching the SEO setting to Custom and entering your own meta title, meta description, and meta keywords. This option is helpful if you already have specific SEO wording you want to use.
For best results, each page should have unique SEO content that matches the actual content on that page. Avoid using the same meta title and meta description across multiple pages.
If you plan to use ASK ZIBSTER AI for schema markup, review the Branding section of your Zibster account first and make sure your business profile is accurate.
If you already have schema markup created outside of Zibster, you can paste it directly into the Schema section instead of using ASK ZIBSTER AI. This option is best for advanced users who are familiar with structured data and already have valid schema prepared. Most schema markup is added in JSON-LD format.
Schema markup should be unique and accurate to the page where it is added. Do not copy the same schema markup across multiple pages unless the information truly applies to each page.
Tracking code and schema markup should be added to their matching sections. Add analytics, pixel, or conversion tracking code in Tracking. Add structured data or JSON-LD schema markup in Schema.
Tips for Writing Better SEO Content
A strong meta title should clearly describe the page and include an important keyword or location when appropriate.
A strong meta description should summarize the page in a natural way and encourage potential customers to click.
For example, instead of using a general title like “Services,” use a more specific title such as “Your City Business Services.”
Instead of using a vague description like “Learn more about what we offer,” use a more helpful description such as “Explore professional business services in your city, including service details, pricing information, and how to get started.”
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Why are my SEO changes not showing in Google yet?
Search engines need time to crawl and update your website listing. Your changes are applied to your Zibster website after you save them, but Google and Bing control when updated search results appear.
Does Google always use my meta title and meta description?
Not always. Search engines may choose to display different text from your page if they believe it better matches a visitor’s search. Your custom meta title and meta description still help provide clear information about the page.
Should I add schema markup to every page?
You do not need to add schema markup to every page. Use schema when you have accurate structured information that matches the visible page content, such as FAQs, services, events, products, reviews, or business details.
Can I add tracking code to only one page?
Yes. The Tracking section in the page-level SEO panel is used for tracking code that should apply only to that specific page. This can be helpful for page-specific conversion tracking, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts from third-party providers.
Should I use Auto SEO or Custom SEO?
Auto SEO can provide a helpful starting point. Custom SEO gives you more control over the exact meta title, meta description, and meta keywords used for the page. For important pages, Custom SEO is recommended so you can make sure the SEO content is specific, accurate, and aligned with the page content.
