How Can I Set Up Anchor Links?

How To Add An Anchor Link To Your Website

Anchor links are a great way to help visitors quickly jump to a specific section of your website. They work like shortcuts that send visitors directly to the exact part of a page you want them to see.

In Zibster, you can link directly to specific blocks on any page to create anchor links.

Follow the steps below to add an anchor link in your Zibster website:

STEP ONE

Log into your Zibster account and click WEBSITE from the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

In the website builder, open the page that contains the block you want to link to.

STEP THREE

Click on the top right corner of the block you want to link to.

In the right-hand panel, rename the block so it has a clear, recognizable name. (For example: "Pricing Section" or "Contact Form.")
Renaming blocks makes it easier to identify them when creating anchor links.

STEP FOUR

Go to the page where you want to add the clickable anchor link. This could be a Button Block, List Block item, Text Editor Block, Text + Image Block, or another block that allows links.

STEP FIVE

When adding the link, select Page and then choose the Block you want to link to.
This connects directly to that exact section of the page instead of just the top of the page.

FINAL STEP

Save your changes. When visitors click the link, they’ll jump straight to the block you selected.

Tips For Using Anchor Links

  • Keep block names short and clear. Use labels like "About," "Pricing," or "Contact" so you can quickly find them when linking.

  • Use anchor links for long pages. They work especially well on one-page websites or landing pages with multiple sections.

  • Make links easy to spot. Place anchor links in navigation menus, buttons, or calls-to-action so visitors know where to click.

  • Test your links. After saving, click through your site to confirm each anchor link jumps to the correct section.
