How to Add an Image to Your Website Footer in Zibster
You can add an image—such as your logo or a branding graphic—to the footer of your Zibster website using the Website Builder. This article walks you through how to access the footer area, add an Images Block, upload your image, and adjust styling and background options.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
OPEN THE FOOTER SECTION
In the Website Builder, scroll to the bottom of your page list and click FOOTER. This opens the footer editing area.
STEP THREE
ADD AN IMAGES BLOCK
In the footer control panel on the right, click Images Block to add it to the footer builder area.
STEP FOUR
EDIT THE IMAGES BLOCK
Click on the newly added Images Block in the footer to open its editing options.
STEP FIVE
UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE
In the right-side panel, click IMAGE UPLOAD to select a file from your computer.
For best results, upload an image no larger than 150 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall. If your image is larger, Zibster will automatically resize it.
After uploading, you can:
-
Add alt text (a description of the image for accessibility and SEO). You can use Ask Zibster AI to automatically generate this or type in your alt text manually.
-
Choose whether the image should link somewhere
Link Options Include:
-
NONE – The image does not link anywhere
-
EXTERNAL LINK – Link to another website
-
PAGE – Link to a page on your Zibster website
-
FORM – Link to a custom form you’ve created
-
MARKETING – Link to a marketing campaign or landing page
-
FILE – Allow visitors to download a file (PDF, JPG, PNG, or GIF)
-
PHONE – Make the image clickable to dial a phone number
-
EMAIL – Open the visitor’s email client to send you an email
-
ADDRESS – Open Google Maps to your business address
-
VIDEO – Display a YouTube or Vimeo video in a lightbox
Styling Your Images Block
In the Styling section of the Images Block, you can control spacing around your image:
-
Space Below Blocks – Adjusts the space between this block and the next block
-
Space Inside Blocks – Adjusts the padding at the top and bottom of the image block
These settings override the global spacing settings found under the DESIGN tab.
Adjusting Colors
In the Colors section, you can customize background and button-related colors for the Images Block. Any changes made here override the global color settings set in the DESIGN tab.
Background Options
For the Images Block background, you can choose from the following:
-
No Background – No background applied
-
Custom Background – Upload your own background image
-
Background Library – Select a background from Zibster’s library
If you use a custom background or a library background, you can choose one of these layout options:
-
Tile – Repeats the image to fill the space
-
Top Left – Aligns the image to the top-left corner
-
Centered – Centers the image in the available space
-
Cover – Scales the image to fully cover the background area
