How to Add a TXT Record for Domain Verification in Zibster
If your domain’s DNS is managed through Zibster using AWS Route 53 name servers, you can add TXT records directly from your account. This is typically needed when verifying your domain with services like Google Search Console, Microsoft, Flodesk, or email providers.
What Is a TXT Record?
A TXT (Text) record is a type of DNS entry that stores text-based information for external services. Most commonly, it's used to verify ownership of your domain.
Important Notes:
- This feature is only available if your name servers are pointed to Zibster’s Route 53 (AWS) system.
- If your domain is using legacy name servers at Rackspace, DNS editing will not be available in your account.

-
Go to DOMAINS > MANAGE DNS.
-
Locate the TXT record you want to delete.
-
Click DELETE next to the entry and confirm.
⚠️ Be careful—deleting a DNS record may impact your website, email, or other connected services.
Confirm the deletion.
